The Gophers had come up with dessert for us. What the hell?

"Uh, what are you guys doing here? Came to rub it in?" I asked.

"No, we had some leftovers from our Tuck Shop party, so we figured you all would be interested." Trent said apologetically, holding a large plate of green gelatin.

"So, you're just being nice?" Courtney asked.

"Okay, so Owen stank up our cabin, and we needed time to let it air out."

Beth took the plate of jelly from Trent, and offered it to Courtney.

"NO! No, no..I mean, I'm good..thanks."

"What, are you on a diet or something?" Duncan asked.

"No..I just don't like green jelly, okay?"

Beth moved over to DJ, who screamed. "SNAKEE!"

"Dude, its just a gummy worm." Cody assured him, picking it up.

"Sorry for trippin, snakes just freak me out." DJ apologized.

"Dude, it's okay. Chickens give me the willies." Tyler said.

I snorted. Chickens?

"Wow, thats really lame." I muttered.

Soon, it was the huge fear share fest. I learned that Harold was afraid of ninjas, Beth was scared of bugs, and even Heather admitted she feared sumo wrestlers.

"What's my worst fear....I suppose being buried alive." Gwen admitted.

"Ugh! Walking on a mine field-in heels!" Lindsay shrieked.

Only Lindsay.

"Flying!" Owen said.

"I'm scared of hail. Tiny, but deadly." said Geoff.

"Being left alone in the woods." Bridgette murmured.

"Bad haircuts!" said Sadie.

"Ooh! I change mine to that one!' shrieked Lindsay.

"Defusing a time bomb under pressure." Cody said.

"Nah, I'm not really afraid of anything." boasted Courtney.

"Bologna!" Duncan coughed.

"Oh really? What's your fear then, Mr. Know It All?"

I stared at Duncan, who was shrinking due to the pressure of everyone leaning in to hear his fear. He stared at me, and I gave him a small nod.

"Ugh...Celine Dion music store standees.." he murmured.

"Ex-squeeze me?" Owen laughed.

"Ooh! I love Celine Dion! But whats a standee?" Lindsay asked.

"You know, like those life size cardboard cutouts in music stores?" I replied.

"So, if we had a standee right now...." I taunted.

"Shut up!" he yelled, covering his ears.

"Okay, I'll admit, I hate mimes, like a lot." Trent said. Courtney rolled her eyes.

"Well Courtney, you're afraid of something." I said.

"What about you?!" she snapped.

"Oh, we'll get to her in a minute. I just have to hear this." Trent said.

"Nothing! Nada!"

"That's not what she said last night," Duncan laughed.

"Did you ever think that I may have been humoring you and your stupid story?" she spat.
