The sound of helicopter blades woke me up from my slumber. I climbed out of my bunk, quickly threw on some clothes, tied me hair up into a ponytail, then ran outside. Chris, dressed as a pilot, hovered above in a helicopter. It lowered down, then he brought a megaphone to his lips.
"WELCOME. TO. THE. EXTREME. CHALLENGE!" he screamed. I cupped my hands over my ears, whimpering. The sound still echoed in my eardrums.
"There will be three parts of the challenge today. We will be doing Extreme Skydiving, Moose Riding, and Mud Skiing! For our first challenge, contestants will skydive to a waiting sofa target below. You will be skydiving from 5,000 feet up! Our lucky contestants are....Trent and DJ! For the next challenges, moose riding will be Leshawna and Geoff, and Mud Skiing will be Heather and Li-Ashlynn!"
He cackled once he caught the bewildered look on my face. Why me?
"NOW! Let's get going!" he cried through the megaphone, sending another blast through my eardrums.
"Okay gang, chow for breaky, then report back in 20 minutes for the extreme sports challenge!"

I shuffled breakfast into my mouth, which was a chocolate muffin. It wasn't too bad, but it had a rubbery texture, slick with butter and sugar paste.
"You enjoying that muffin, sweetheart?" Duncan asked, slapping his tray down next to mine.
I straightened up, brushing the last chocolatey crumbs off of my mouth. "Maybe. It was a bit rubbery though."
He smirked. "You like 'em rubbery?"
I smacked him on the arm. "Grow up, Juvie."
He laughed, then laced his fingers through mine. "So..excited for that mud skiing challenge?"
"Ha, no. I've never been, and I honestly don't want this to be my first time."
He waggled his eyebrows. "Don't worry babe, I'll be there to protect you."
"Oh shut up. You're not making this better." I groaned.
I loved mud. It always brought back memories of splashing in mucky puddles as a kid. But something was telling me to beware of the challenge. It led to imminent danger.
I brushed the thought aside. Of course it would lead to danger- it was an extreme challenge.

DJ and Trent climbed nervously into the airplane, and then it rustily took off. Once it ascended about 5,000 feet, we grabbed our raggedy couch, then started moving it to the direction of the plane.
"GO, GO, GO!" I yelled, dragging the couch with my team. It was rather heavy, and strange rustling noises came out from it with each step we took.
We see DJ falling down from the plane, and we move the couch to where he would land. The bed unfolds just in time for him to land.
We won the challenge!
Trent plummets to the sand, making a Trent-sized hole. I wince. It has not been going too well for Trent lately.
We start the next challenge; Wild Moose Riding.
"Hey, did you guys wanna see that tattoo?" Geoff snarks, flashing his bottom.
The moose goes on a rage, then bucks him off. Geoff goes flying into a pile of dirty gym socks.
Leshawna then mounts it, and she holds on for dear life. The Gophers win this challenge, and I grimace. Geoff's stupid tattoo lost us this one.
