*Trinity's PoV*
"Louis. Louis, get off me," I whined, desperately attempting to shove a sleeping Louis off of me. When we came home after the carnival, we watched a comedy to put Louis in a better mood after that fair ride, and, apparently, we both fell asleep on the couch. He mumbled something, half asleep, which I didn't quite catch. Giving up, I decided there was only one remaining option. Taking a deep breath, I shifted my weight backwards and then forwards again rapidly, rolling Louis off of me, as well as off of the couch. He fell to the floor with a 'thud' and a loud groan.
I sat up and stretched my arms above my head sleepily, before swinging my legs over the side of the couch and pulling myself to my feet. Louis sat up, eyes still half closed, and rubbed his hands over his face. He looked at me groggily.
"What was that for?" he asked, in his raspy morning voice.
"I'm meeting my mum for lunch and you wouldn't move your fat ass off me, so I had to use some force," I replied simply, shrugging my shoulders as I walked towards the kitchen in search of a quick breakfast.
My mum had asked to meet up, and seeing as she hardly ever asked to meet up, I couldn't exactly deny.
I decided on some pop-tarts, shoving them into the toaster carelessly, before ambling towards the kettle to make a cup of tea. I flicked the switch up, turning the water on to boil, and felt a pair of hands on my waist.
"It's your birthday tomorrow," I heard his voice whisper huskily, kissing the side of my neck.
To be honest, I had completely forgotten. I froze as I remembered what was to come alongside my birthday. It wasn't that I didn't want to be close to Louis like that, I did, I really did, it was just that I was nervous. Louis had so much experience, he had admitted that, and I had none.
I turned to face him, wrapping my arms around his neck and leaning back against the marble counter.
"And what's that supposed to mean?" I teased him, smiling innocently. He rolled his eyes and grinned back, leaning in and placing a kiss on my lips.
The kiss got very heated, very quickly. I swear, I would have lost my self-control then and there, if it weren't for the sound of the flick of the switch on the kettle, signalling the water had boiled. I pulled away, breathing quickly, and turned to make my cup of tea and collect my pop-tarts from the toaster.
"Seems like you know exactly what that's supposed to mean," I heard Louis say from where he remained standing, and I could almost hear the smirk in his voice.
I ate and drank as quickly as possible, eager to leave this conversation as it was making me feel a little awkward, and walked upstairs, Louis following close on my heels. He tried to come into my room with me, but I quickly denied.
"Nah-uh, mister," I smiled, "You have to go get dressed too, seeing as you're the only way I have of getting to the cafe to meet my mother."
His face fell and he sighed, before spinning on his heel and dragging his feet towards his bedroom. I walked over to the large chest of drawers in the room, pulling out a blue tank top and a pair of denim shorts.
Closing the door, I changed quickly and matched my outfit with my favourite pair of Converse. I glanced at the clock that sat on my dresser. 11am. I was supposed to meet my mum at the café at half eleven, so I needed to get moving.
