Back at the Burrow Again
The band was playing and I was sitting with Luna at a table watching Bill and Fleur have their first dance as husband and wife. Luna was swaying to the music but I just sat there and watched. Fleur looked beautiful as always and I was happy for her and Bill. Mr. Weasley then joined them with Fleur’s mother and Mrs. Weasley with her father. “I like this song.” Luna said and soon joined them on the dance floor.
I got up after her and walked around the dance floor. I saw Fred and George and I walked over to them. Fred was messing with his tie and I slapped his hand. “You’re mum will have your head if you take that off.” I fixed it for him.
He groaned. “I hate ties.”
“I know.”
George elbowed Fred and said, “Look. The Veela cousins aren’t dancing.”
Fred grinned. “Well, I think we might have to put an end to that.”
They started to walk away and I groaned. “Thanks for leaving me.”
“No problem.” George called back and I plopped down into a chair.
I looked around and noticed more people were dancing. I should’ve brought a date to the wedding but couldn’t find anyone in time. Everyone I knew was enjoying their rest of their summer holiday by traveling to Romania and other places. I should’ve asked Lee. He wouldn’t have left me for Veela cousins. I crossed my arms and watched as Fred and George walked out of the party with the cousins. I scoffed and then noticed a hand out in front of me. I looked up to see a tall, dark haired, brown eyed boy standing there. He was cute and I recognized him. It was Viktor Krum.
“Vould you like to dance?” He asked and I nodded.
“Yeah.” I took his hand and he led me out onto the dance floor.
“You are Aria, correct?” He asked.
“You remember me?” I raised an eyebrow. I haven’t seen Viktor since my fourth year at Hogwarts during the Tri-Wizard Tournament and even then I had only talked to him a couple times while I was with Hermione.
He nodded. “Yes. You are friends with Hermione.”
“Yeah.”
“Mind if I cut in?” Fred’s voice asked and whisked me away from Viktor.
Viktor walked off, peeved, and I looked up at Fred as we started to dance. “I was dancing with him.”
“And you looked bored so I saved you.” He grinned down at me.
“I thought you were with the Veela cousins.”
He shrugged. “They left so George and I came back here.” He spun me around.
“And you just had to dance with me right now?”
He nodded. “Yes.”
I shook my head. “You just wanted to have your way, Mr. Weasley.”
