Mr. and Mrs. George Weasley
I stood outside the Shell Cottage and took a deep breath. I was behind a wall so George wouldn’t see me and my dad was standing next to me. My heart was racing a million miles per hour and I was feeling a little light headed. Dad linked his arm and the music started playing. We walked out from behind the wall and I saw everyone standing up. There were a total of thirty-one guests I invited and every single one of them was there; including Ben. I smiled at them and clutched my dad’s arm and my bouquet of stargazer lilies and roses. My eyes went to the altar where Hermione, Ginny, Luna, Lucy, Ron, Bill, Percy, and Charlie were standing with George and Kingsley. George was in a suit with a purple tie and a rose pinned to the jacket. He was only looking at me and he had a huge smile on his face. I smiled back at him and my heart raced more. We stopped in front of George and my dad gave me away. I then took George’s hand and stood with him in front of Kingsley. Kingsley did the normal wedding routine and led up to where George and I had to say our vows. I just wanted to be married to George already and didn’t really pay attention until George started talking.
“Aria, I love you more than words can express.” He told me. “You’ve been my best friend for years so when you came down the stairs in the Gryffindor common room in your Yule Ball dress and I fell in love with you, I couldn’t believe it. Since then, I hate being away from you. I miss your vanilla scent and the way your eyes make me feel like I still have a reason to live. Without you, I don’t I’d be here right now. You’ve been with me through every hard time I can remember. You helped me through Fred’s death.” Tears built up in my eyes. “You were the only one I wanted to be with then and you’re the one I’ll always want to be with. You are my world and I’ll love you until the day I die and after. I can’t wait to be married and to have our kids because I know we’ll be great parents. I love you, Aria.”
“I love you too, George.” I cried and hugged him.
“Aria, it’s your turn.” Kingsley said and I nodded; wiping tears away.
“I had written vows Monday and memorized them by Tuesday morning. The words played over and over again in my head like my favorite song but now I forgot all of them. You’re vows replaced them and I know I can’t remember it but I’m gonna try.” I took a deep breath and looked into George’s eyes. “George, without you I wouldn’t know what do. Without you I don’t know what to do. You have always been my best friend and I’ve always been a little closer to you than anyone else. Including Fred. You’ve always been able to calm me down. Even when I was a baby and would cry. Mum told me you were the one who got me to stop. I couldn’t believe that I didn’t fall in love with you before I did. That day really broke my heart because I found you making out with Angelina.” He laughed. “And I’m glad we finally got together because I don’t know what my life would be like without you. I’m not even sure if I’d be alive.” His smile left and I knew we both thought about the time I cut myself. “I love you, George, and I’m glad I’m having your twins.”
“Can we hurry this up?” George asked Kingsley. “I want to kiss her already.”
Everyone laughed and Kingsley nodded. “George, do you take Aria for your lawful wedded wife, to live in the holy estate of matrimony? Will you love, honor, comfort, and cherish her from this day forward forsaking all others, keeping only unto her for as long as you both shall live?”
George smiled down at me and said, “Always and forever.”
