Happily Ever After
George’s POV
By November, everything between Aria and I was perfect. Our house was finished and we ready for the twins to arrive. Aria and I had already moved into the house and she loved it. Around the middle of October, we had moved into the Burrow so my mum could watch Aria while I was at work; just in case anything happened. We were sleeping in Ginny’s room since Aria had a hard time walking up and down stairs. We also weren’t the only Weasley couple expecting anymore. Fleur was pregnant wither her and Bill’s first child and was due in May. Percy and Audrey were engaged and Luna, Hermione, and Ginny graduated Hogwarts. Other than that, nothing really had changed; except of course the size of Aria’s stomach.
I woke up on November fourth and looked next to me at Aria. Her eyes were open and she was looking at her round stomach and rubbing it. I smiled at her and said, “Good morning, Love.”
She looked at me and smiled. “Good morning.”
I touched her stomach and asked, “How are you feeling today?”
“Fine.” She smiled at me and I felt one of the twins kick; knowing it was my son. We had found out that one of the twins was a boy and the other a girl. Our son was the one who kicked most of the time and sometimes our daughter did. “He’s been doing that all morning.”
“That’s because he wants attention.” I rubbed her stomach. How’s our girl today?”
“She’s moved a little but not much.”
“She’s more like you then.” I kissed her lips and there was a knock on the door.
“Aria, I have your breakfast.” Ginny said from the other side of the door.
I got up and opened the door. “Hey, Ginny.” I moved out of her way and she came in.
“Mum wants you to eat at the table.” She told me and put the tray down by Aria.
I rolled my eyes and kissed Aria’s head. “I’ll be right back.”
“Ok.” She smiled at me.
I went into the kitchen and joined Harry, Ron, and Hermione at the table. Mum had made waffles for breakfast and Ron was shoving them in his mouth. I made mine and quickly started eating. I wanted to spend enough time with Aria before I had to go to the shop. I finished eating quickly and entered the room as Ginny left the tray. I sat on the bed by Aria and touched her arm.
“You have to go to work, George.” She told me.
“I know but not for a couple more minutes.” I smiled and she laughed.
“Get dressed or you’re gonna be late. I’m sure Lee will love having to open again this morning.”
I groaned. “Fine.” I went over the dresser and took out a pair of jeans and a sweater.
As I got dressed, Aria said, “Ow.”
“What?” I asked her and put on my pants.
“Just a little pain.”
“Are you ok?” I asked.
