Two Weasleys, Two Heart Breaks
I was at Weasleys’ Wizards Wheezes with the twins getting ready to open for the day. Fred and George were getting the inventory from the previous day and I was stocking the shelves. I did this every morning for them and I didn’t mind. I loved the shop more than anything. Just like the twins did. “I’m going to put the money upstairs in the office.” Fred told us.
“Ok.” George and I said in unison.
Fred went up the stairs and George came over to help me. “Thanks for doing this.” He said.
“No problem, George.” I smiled at him. “I’m happy to help.” I grabbed a box of Canary Creams and climbed the ladder to put them on the shelf.
“But we pay Lee.”
“That’s because Lee works for you guys. I don’t.” I put the Canary Creams on a shelf and accidentally hit a Boxing Telescope and it popped out and hit my eye. I fell back off the ladder and screamed as I fell. I closed my eyes and prepared to hit the ground but I didn’t. I felt arms under me and I opened my eyes to find George had caught me. I took a deep breath and sighed with relief. We stared into each other’s eyes and I realized George was holding me like a bride. I smiled and ran my hand through his hair. I clutched his hair and started bringing his face closer to mine.
“Aria! George! Open the shop!” Fred’s voice called from upstairs and George and I quickly parted.
I released his hair and he put me on the ground. “Um… there’s some Bruise Removal Paste in the counter.” George said awkwardly.
“Thanks.” I said and he turned away from me. “George?”
“Yeah?” He looked at me.
I took a deep breath again and went closer to him. I put my hand on his cheek and kissed his lips; instantly tasting cinnamon. He held me closer to him and kissed me back passionately. Our lips parted and we were breathing hard while our foreheads were put together. “I love you, Aria.”
I opened my eyes and found the sun shining in my face. I hated the sun. It was too bright and happy and that was one thing I haven’t really been for a month. Since the last time I’ve talked to and seen George. I missed him so much but he was too mad to even write me a letter. I stopped writing him after a week of trying and I’ve been upset ever since. Sure, I had Ben around all the time and Fred more but I missed the living Weasley twin. I wanted him to just believe me. When I got to Ben’s that day after George and I fought, I told Ben everything. I told him how I could see Fred and all about George’s letters and he comforted me. I was glad to have him in my life but I wanted George back. I needed George back. On the plus side, I’ve gotten closer to Ben’s family. I really liked them and they were fun to be around. But still, I missed George.
I rolled over in Ben’s bed where I’ve been staying at every night and found Fred sitting in the chair of Ben’s desk. I sighed and said, “You have to stop with the dreams, Fred.” Yeah. He told me he was the one giving me the dreams to get me to fall for George. Though now, they were working but I wasn’t about to admit it. “Even if I do fall for him, it won’t do anything. He hates me.”
