Yedin's POV

It was indeed a good place. No doubt about it. Even though it is just a small one but it is near to everything. Few blocks away is a supermarket, on the right is a 24/7 store where you can buy your emergency needs and you can also find a taxi roaming around ready to be ride on.

It has been a week since we arrived here and I started to fix the belongings in my room. Peter also gave me some money to buy needed stuffs for my room but I kept it to my savings. Maybe someday I might need it. Oh gosh. I'm acting like a teenager but totally I'm not. I better start looking for a job or maybe enter a part-time job for the mean time.

"Eomeoni! I'm going to go downtown. Won't take long." Mom or eomeoni, whatever I feel like calling her it just means the same. I didn't bother to wait for an answer. She'll allow me anyway. I check my watch, which is old by the way I got this 3 years ago, it is already past lunch. I better start moving before it gets dark.

I hope luck is on my favor. I'm all prepped up and ready to submit my résumé to the one of the biggest company in London. Wew. I'm scared. But here we go. For my future.

"Good morning. I am here to send my application." I said to the girl who looks like a clown due to the heavy make up she's wearing.

"Oh. You should try you very best dahling! Hahaha anyway, you go to the elevator over there and you press H, that's the floor to the big boss. Hahaha" She answered me in a squeaky voice. Ugh! So annoying but I have to bear with it.

I nodded and said my thanks to her. I followed her instructions and with it is my nervouse heart ready to jump out of my chest. Big boss. A name I can't get off my mind. It means he's the CEO. I think I have to schedule a meeting with the funeral director.

*Ting*

Oh no I'm here. I saw a receptionist the moment the elevator doors open and asked her where will I submit my application form. She checked it first and told me to go directly to the big door.

*Knock knock*

"Come in." His voice is with an authority. Scaring the cheese out of me.

"Good morning Sir."

"Good morning too. Please have a sit. What can I do for you?" He is in his 50's I guess and looks strict but you can be comfortable talking to him.

"Uhm. Sir, I am here to submit my application form with it is my résumé." I honestly don't know what job is available but I have to have a work.

"I could see here that you are a graduate with a bachelor's dual degree on Finance Management and Economics. You also have a background on Secretarial. But your last job is in Huang Trade and Industries Co." He gave me a look of how did you enter to that company but decided to resign?

"My family moved here in London 2 months ago and they want me to resign from my work." I explained to him. And he nods understanding the situation.

"I see. Having a different degree in college and having a different job is quite a change. You must have a hard time."

"It was fine sir. I am flexible." I state to him which is true. Nothing is really that a problem with finance and trade. As you can see I'm pretty good in numbers.

"I could see. Well, there are three jobs available but I have to look further into your résumé but don't worry you have a place in our company. Be back on Monday." What?! Monday?! Today is Wednesday and I have to be back few days from now. Why can't I start tomorrow? But well, as long as I am accepted.

"I see I have nothing to worry about sir. Thank you very much."

"Looking forward Ms. Baek on your capabilities." He extend his hand as a sign of my acceptance. Yes! I have a job!
