Chapter 20

Yedin's POV

What is he doing here? I know I shouldn't be crying over the guy who broke my heart. Why is it that my heart is still beating as fast as it was earlier when I saw him standing in front of me? The moment I left him means leaving it in the past and there is no turning back.

I got up from the stairs I'm sitting on here at the emergency exit area of the building. I know that there would be no one who will come here.

When I was about to go to my boss' office, I caught the sight of him entering the elevator which made me felt relieved that I won't see him for this day.

Knock knock

"Sir, I am sorry I forgot to give these files to you. These are needed within 20 minutes."

I handed him the files that he needs for his meeting. I almost forgot because of what happened.

Good heavens please spare me some lectures today. I prayed silently.

"So, Isha? I didn't know about that. Anyway, please prepare the conference room. Afterwards, grab me some cappuccino. Then, confirmed my lunch meeting with the Enchanted Corporation's CEO."

I was confused. Usually he would let me stay with him in the meeting to take down notes and help him analyze the project proposals by the board.

"Sir, what about the meeting? I have to take down notes and do my job."

"Have a pass for now. Your notes won't help me with your condition right now, don't interrupt me I know you won't admit."

I was about to ask him what do he means by with the condition I have right now? It is impossible for him to know about the thing I had with Rain, unless he told him about it.

So, he handed me a thick envelope. When I opened it, I saw a pages of paper work.

"Work on that Yedin. Instead of going to the meeting. You'll be going to the lunch meeting with me since you know him."

"It's a her, sir. Not him." I corrected him. I guess it slipped again from his mind that the CEO is a girl, which is rare in business in London.

"Oh yeah! I forgot. Apologies. You may now start to doy first instructions and proceed with these paper works."

Ting! Lunch time!

I'm in the car with Mr. Alexandrew West. We're actually heading to the Zia's Italian Cuisine for the meeting with Ms. Vale Hustens.

I just remembered now, I haven't mentioned her name to my boss yet. Oh well, he'll ask for it over lunch.

"Did you bring the contract?

"Yes sir."

"What about the status update? And the progress chart about the distribution to New York?"

"I've brought everything that is necessary sir."

"Please go ahead Ms. Baek, I'll have to park the car first."

I made my way inside the restaurant. Woah. It looks so pretty in here. I love Italian cuisine. God. I have been dreaming about eating here.

I searched my eyes for the woman we're going to meet now. Luckily, due to her pretty hair and posture, I found her. She's facing her back to me thats is why she didn't notice my arrival.

"Ms. Vale!"

"Yedin! Oh, how I miss seeing you laugh and smile. It has been a week since the last time we saw each other. Please take a sit."

"Thank you Ms. Vale. I'm also sorry, my boss brought me to his business trip since he thinks that he needs someone who will bring his paperworks for him."

"Hahaha if you work for me that won't happen but I would definitely bring you to shopping. By the way, how did you manage your boss to agree to this lunch?"

"He cleared up his schedule and found this time perfect for the long awaited meet up."

We were happily chatting when I noticed a guy in suit looking so handsome, just how every woman on Earth would say, standing in from of the glass doors.

I raised my arm for him to acknowledge it.

When he saw it, he made his way to the table we're at.

"Excuse me, Ms. Vale."

She nodded while busily checking the progress her company is doing with the help of our company. No wonder the merging did a great work. There is an increase in sales for about 23% for the first month and we're actually looking forward for a higher increase at the end of 3 months.

"Sir, Ms. Vale is waiting for you on that table. I have to use the comfort room first. Please enjoy the company for a while."

"It is a woman, of course I'll enjoy the view."

I didn't mind his reply because it is what he usually say whenever we talk about women but there is no seriousness in his tone just a pure teasing.

After I used the comfort room, I decided to grab some files at the back seat of Mr. West's car. He gave me the keys before he proceeds to meet Ms. Vale.

On the parking lot I saw someone familiar.

But, it is impossible for him to be here since he is busy in Korea for his art exhibits on progress.

I was about to take my eyes away from him when he caught me staring at him. From other perspective, it looks like I got caught by a guy looking at him for his handsomeness.

"Isha?"

Confirmed.

"Renz."

"It is really you. So, Joshua is not lying after all."

"I'll be going Renz. I cut my connections with you the day that everything ended between me and Rain."

"But Isha, couldn't you tell me why you left?"

"Are you making me a fool? It was because of you and your stupid friends. No. Actually, it was because of Rain. Well, actually, just don't try the hell to talk with me ever again."

"Isha!!"

I can't take it anymore. Why do I end always meeting people I don't want to see anymore?
