Chapter 21

Joshua's POV

"What?! You saw her?" I asked Renz when he came to the condo and started talking about the girl who left me without reasons.

"So, I presume that you already know that she's here in London. Why didn't you tell me?" He asked me, that's when I realized that I forgot to tell him about my encounter with Isha.

"Sorry, it slipped. Yeah, she's working for Mr. Alexandrew West."

"The one who hired you to make a design for the coffee shop. I remembered you told me that, that coffee shop is a suggestion from Isha, right?"

"Hmm. Yeah. So?"

"Don't you think it is weird that they are so close? Do you think it is like those typical story that the CEO fell in love to his secretary?"

"The hell I care?! She's just after money I guess. She left for London to get what every girl wants."

"Do you think lowly of her? Have you forgotten that she was once the girl you ever loved so much?"

"Have you also forgotten that she left me? And what is worse, is that she didn't leave any reasons why and left me hanging and waiting."

"This conversation is going nowhere. Hear her out, would you?"

"I'm going Renz. If you like her then hit on her."

Boogsh *sound of someone who got punched*

"I regret it now that I introduced you to her."

I licked my lips and tasted blood. He surely hit me hard to make me stunned on the floor.

I regret the words I said to him. Renz is a good friend of Isha and they went to the same middle school in South Korea. My anger got over me and I should be careful of the words that will come out of my mouth.

"Hear her out, would you?" I thought about what he said but I just couldn't do it. I will never ask her as long as I can.

Ring ring ring

I grabbed my phone from my left pocket of my pants and saw from whom the call is coming from.

"Yoboseyo?"

"Oppa! How are you? I've been wanting to call you since the day you stepped out of the airplane that landed in London."

"Give me a break Hanna. By the way, how's my mom and your dad?"

Hanna is my step sister. His dad married my mom with our consent and approval of course. My father died years ago and Hanna's mother died after giving birth to her brother who wasn't able to survive. It was tragic for their family but I am glad she was raised normally.

"Oh brother! They are like teenagers. I want to puke. When are you coming back?"

"Soon. After I finish my work here."

"Can I have your address, then?"

"I'll send it to you."

"Okay! By the way, I miss my bestfriend."

"You told me she's working abroad right? Contact her."

"Yeah I will. Got to go Oppa. Annyeong!"

She ended the call and that's my cue for me to start packing my things to meet up with Mr. West at his office to talk with the people involve of the project.

Alexandrew's POV

I agreed to the lunch meeting with the CEO of the Enchanted Scents Corporations because of the clear schedule I have for this week.

Hearing from Yedin that she's a girl, that made me interested but when I saw who it was, I didn't know what to feel anymore.

"Disiree." Shock is visible from her eyes and there is a mixture of anger and hatred.

Anger and hatred. Does she hate me that much? Shouldn't it be in the first place to get mad at her for leaving me in times of my great suffering?

"Za-zane." What made you stutter dear? *smirk*

"So, you are the well known CEO of Echanted Scents Corporation? The girl who successfully build her own Corporation and the girl every businessman wants."

"What are you doing here Zane?"

"Let's sit down. . ."

"No! I won't sit down here in the same table with you."

People snapped their heads in our direction and started whispering about what's happening in our table. I noticed a waiter was about to head in our direction but I signalled him that we were fine and he stopped from his tracks.

"I would rather sit down than I cancel all the shipments and distribution of your products to New York at this very moment." I don't want to use this card but I have to when the situation call for it, and it seems like this time it is needed.

"You're horrible." If looks can kill, I should be dead at this very moment. She sat down while looking into my eyes intently with pure anger, annoyance and hatred in her eyes.

"I should make the necessary introductions." I cleared up my throat and fixed my tie. "Good afternoon, I am Alexandrew West, the CEO of West Corporations. The company where you made a contract for a merger to have your products deliver and distributed to New York in a short period of time." I extended my hand for her to take instead she got her cup of tea and drank it.

"Good afternoon Mr. West, it is actually not a pleasure to meet you. If I had known your identity, I wouldn't bother asking for your help. By the way, I am Vale Hustens, CEO of Enchanted Scents Corporation."

She smiled. It was a fake one and I feel that it was only forced.

I really want to see her smile again.

What?! Did I just think about her smile? No way. I already moved on and I don't want her in my life. I know she feels the same.

Luckily Yedin arrives. I sighed. I feel so relieved that someone here can ease the tension.

"I'm sorry it took me long. I bump into someone. Sir? Ma'am? I'll take it that you've already made some introductions?" Yedin said while she took her seat.

As I was about to call someone to take our order, I heard Disiree's or as what they call her now, Vale's phone rings.

"Excuse me, I'll just take this call."
