Vale's POV

It has been two weeks since the last time I saw him but life goes on, and it has been, even though he walked out of my life. I'm actually eager to meet Yedin this weekend, she promised me that I'll surely be able to meet her boss. My business is doing pretty well in New York market and I got increased in sales for this month.

"Ma'am Vale, someone is here to talk with you. Should I let him in? His name is Joshua."

I motioned her to let the guy in. I'm pretty sure she is quite shocked to see an asian dude to visit me.

"Vale! It's been awhile. Remember me?"

Joshua's POV

"Of course you little piece of cheese. Why don't you give your cousin a wonderful hug?" That's Vale for you. I know we look weird together. She's an English while I'm an Asian - a Korean to be exact. Well, my grandfather is English who married my Korean grandmother who the latter gave birth to my mother.

"What are you doing here in London? Aren't you supposed to be busy in Korea?"

I honestly don't know what made me said yes to my bestfriend in coming here.

"A break from my old life I guess. I just dropped by here before going to the penthouse I'm staying at. I'm with my bestfriend by the way."

"Renz right? Well, okay. Get going little one. We'll catch up soon." She murmured something under her breath but I didn't bother asking what it was since I'm running out of time.

I bid her goodbye and the usual English way of farewell. But, that didn't stop us not to do the Korean way since I grew up with that tradition and Vale knows that.

I have to go back to the penthouse first to change into something presentable than the clothes I have on.

"Joshua! Over here." Dressed in a white undershirt and a navy blue coat on top of his shirt matching it with a beige pants and lastly, a pair of black leather shoes. He really looks an impressive artist.

The art exhibit he's currently doing here in London is a major one. Renz is a big hit artist which is no doubt he gets big sponsorship.

I noticed a girl with a brunette hair beside him. Who looks like a model in the way she stands and by the looks of it, she's used to crowds.

"Renz, hey. And who is this lovely lady?"

"Dude my girlfriend, Mica. Babe, this is my annoying bestfriend who is also an artist, Joshua."

"Nice to meet you."

"Likewise."

Pretty girl he got here. Renz is known for not going into flings and this one must be serious. 8 months ago was his last relationship and it wasn't good for the record.

I mentioned to them how I am looking for a part time job here in London. Since, I'm planning to stay for over a month, I want to explore the other side of the world.

I'm actually an architect and painting is one of my hobby during my past time. I don't want to ask Vale for help because I know she'll let me stick with her. I just want to be a freelancer if possible.

I'm not a morning person. That's a fact I make people around me aware of it. That's why I woke up at around 8 in the morning. Much that I want to sleep more but I can't.

"Mica told me she has a friend who might want to see your potential. Meet him in this area. West Corporation is the name."

I went home drunk and so he did. When I saw myself in the mirror, I look normal but Renz here looks like didn't get much sleep.

"What's the matter dude? You look. . . Ugly"

"Ugh! Bro! Why am I still haunted with my past relationship?" He put his two hands on both sides of his head, as if his head is aching.

"So, are you saying that you're having second thoughts with your relationship with Mica?"

"Something like that. But we've been together for 6 months and I think. . . I think I really love her. I'm scared."

Wth?! "Scared of loving? So gay!" I grabbed some cereals and pour milk on it. English breakfast. I'm used to this since I stayed with my grandparents during the holidays.

"Yes and No. Yes, if that person you love doesn't love you back. No, if it is the right person that your heart desires."

"You know what? You're so emotional right now. Get some sleep man! You still have an art exhibit this evening with the major sponsors checking where you have been in your track."

He left the dining table and headed to his room. I know what he feels. The heck! I've been there and I ended in a heart break. I've been trying for awhile now to forget everything I had with that girl. After she left me, I had two relationships that, at the end, didn't work and ended badly.

I could somewhat say I have moved on.

I really hope so.
