Alexandrew's POV

Reviewing the conditions and the benefits my company will get from having business with Enchanted Scents to make sure it is a win-win situation.

After 30 minutes of reading, scanning and reviewing I signed the contract and gave it to my secretary.

"Sir, the company's CEO wants to meet you personally." She informed me when she received the contract.

I would really want to meet her but I'll be leaving few hours from now to check my chains of restaurants in the Philippines. I don't want to burden my sister too much.

"Please send her my apologies. I have some matters to attend to. Also, please cancel my appointments for the day. I'll be leaving two hours from now. Transfer calls to me if it is really important and threatening."

"Yes, sir. I'll go now to send these files."

Today is the day when we broke up. I mean, it wasn't an official break up since it was sudden that she left me. As far as I can remember, that's what happened. I want to look for her but I am scared to know her whereabouts. What if she is already a married woman, with kids, enjoying life with her husband. I can't take it. It will be the death of me.

Suddenly my phone rang and when I saw the caller I.D. i smiled because it reminded me of how lucky I am to have a mother.

"Hey mom. What is it?"

"Oh, nothing dear. Uhm. Are you alright?"

"Of course mom. Why wouldn't I be?" I'm pretty sure my mom doesn't know about what happened 6 years ago. Weird. Maybe she's talking about work. Yeah. It is just work.

"Haha nothing dear. Come have lunch before you leave the country."

"Uh- ah yeah. Sure. Bye mom."

It is really getting weird that my mom knows I'll be leaving the country. I only told my driver and my pilot about this.

Vale's POV

I received one bad news and one good news today. First, the bad news is, I won't be able to meet personally the CEO of the West Corporation. Lastly, the good news, the contract has been signed and it will be delivered here by Ms. Yedin Baek the secretary.

Someone delivered bouquet of flowers to me. I checked the card to see from whom it came from and it is from Harris Sweden, one of the hottest bachelor in London. But, I heard something interesting, rumor has it that he likes girls and also boys. Hmm. That makes him gay. Right? So, yeah. I don't want to let my child have a father who is not committed to me.

Don't get me wrong. I am not expecting to see or meet him again. That guy from the past.

"Good morning, Ms. Hustens. This is the copy of the contract. Since, you agreed that our company will keep the original one." Ms. Yedin handed the paper to me.

"Yes, I made that very clear. Thank you for this wonderful news. I'll start to send the distribution notice to your office first thing tomorrow morning." Finally! I will be able to enter the New York market with easier and faster access. That reminds me that I have a plane to catch later.

"Definitely ma'am. Before anything else, Mr. West is very sorry for not personally meeting you. He have important matters that needs immediate attention."

"I understand. Business is unpredictable at times. I'll show you the way out." I said while putting the papers to my file folder.

"Don't bother anymore ma'am."

"I insist. I'll be going down anyway."

We made our way to the exits of the building and bid her farewell. I called my driver to pick me up and in a matter of minutes, he is already there with the car. Fantastic!

"To the Sweet and Cheesy Cafe please." I instructed him. I have to grab something first for me and for my daughter who is patiently waiting for me at home.

This is her favorite restaurant because of the wonderful combination if sweets.

I ordered my usual, two orders of blueberry cheesecake with cookies and cream shake.

As I was about to grab the handles of the door, someone bump his shoulder against mine. I nearly tripped over and spill the shakes to his suit but thank goodness that he was able to catch me.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to." I didn't bother to look at the sexy voice and made my way to my car. I inhaled deeply and exhaled soundly to release my annoyance to that stupid suit man.

I wonder how he looks like. I rolled my eyes and stop my thoughts from building up more.
