Alexandrew's POV

"That is the end of everything. So, if you'll excuse me Mr. West. I still have to prepare for your conference."

Few seconds after she left the room I snapped myself back to reality. I felt her emotions while she's telling me about her past lovelife with Joshua. I thought he's a nice guy but I'm thinking twice now.

Knock knock

"Come in."

Speaking of the devil.

"What are you doing here Mr. Lee?" Did I sound cold and authoritative? Maybe. Maybe not.

"I'm sorry to barge in like this sir your secretary was not on her desk when I came in."

"It's alright. Please take a sit. Is there something wrong with the construction?"

"None sir. I would just like to have you there, if it won't take much of your time, to see if there is no final retouches before we do some permanent work with the area."

Oh cheese nits. I haven't decided what to do with the area yet. There should be connection between the coffee shop and the lake.

Wait. I remembered something. Yedin has a plan for this area but she told me she can't tell me because she wants it to be a surprise.

"I don't have a plan yet but. . ."

"Sir, your meeting will start in 5 minutes wi. . . Oh, I'm sorry I didn't know you're with someone."

"Come here Yedin. We're talking about that coffee shop you wanted to build near the lake."

Well well well. I didn't know they'll be working together sooner. But, they have no choice.

"So, where were we?"

"Er. . You don't have a plan yet sir but?" Joshua said.

"Ah yes. But, Yedin here has an excellent plan and she'll be working with you until the area meets her expectation."

"But. ." "But. ." Both of them said in unison. It seems like these two still have the connection they had when they were still together. You know, lovers think alike sometimes.

I glanced at my watch and pretended to be in panic and shocked. "OH! I'm already late. Yedin, please continue your discussion and you may leave when needed. No buts. Final."

Joshua's POV

What's going on here? If only this is not a major project I would frankly tell Mr. West that I can't work with that girl.

Yeah. That girl.

I thought you have moved on already? Says my inner thoughts.

Yeah. . I did. Sort of. I really don't know. It is just that I think we won't be able to work properly if we will be together. You know the feeling, right?

"Do you really need it now?" I jumped when I heard her asking me. Jeez why am I acting like a girl here?

"Yeah. Well, that is if you want everything to go smoothly and according to your taste."

She has this side of her where she wants everything to be perfect. Very meticulous sometimes. But, that is not something bad for me. She knows when to use it that's why.

"Alright. Let's go."

"Uh. Okay. I have a car. Do you want to go with me or you're driving your own?"
