Chapter 25

Yedin's POV

"Hanna!!!" Do you remember her? She's my bestfriend who is staying in South Korea. I still don't know the reason on what she's doing here but nevertheless, I'm glad she's here. By the way, she was the one who called me and I headed out right away.

"Yedin!! I miss you! How have you been?" We rarely talk online because of time difference and the busy work we have.

"Come let's make our order first. By the way, what are you doing here?"

"I'll have strawberry coffee mixed drink." She told the waitress and she looked at me waiting for my order. "I'll have chocolate cream chip drink and two mango cheesecakes please."

We looked for a free table and sat there. "To answer that Yedin, I have another thing to tell you."

"Sure. What is it?"

"Do you still remember that my mom was dating someone a year ago?"

"Yeah. You told me the guy is nice and he seems like he's treating you like his own daughter. Don't tell they broke up?"

"No.. Well, they got married 11 months ago and the guy has a son."

"Omo. So, the son is not treating you well?"

"No..  no.. it's not like that. He is really nice and treats me like his own sister, it is just that he looks really familiar but I can't remember where and when and how."

"Hahaha. Maybe you dated this guy in your past life?"

"Aish. No way. He's out of my league. I'll be staying in his place for now."

I got shocked since I know that the dude he's talking about is a korean. I haven't met a lot of korean for these past few months except for Renz and Rain.

As of now, I'm not telling her about them yet. It is better if I keep this one to myself.

"You mean he's living here?"

"Sort of. He's doing some business. We should hang out once. When is your free day?"

"I am not sure about that. A friend of mine wants me to do something for her and I've got some work to do for the new project."

"Alright. Don't worry about me, I'll be staying for two weeks I guess."

"What about work? Don't tell me you quit?"

"Yeah I did. I got tired from working in that company."

Oh no. She'll be bugging the people around her while she has no work. I put a hand on my forehead and shook my head. This is not happening again. I've experienced that time when she pulls me here and there even if I have work. I got fired eventually.

"Oh please Yedin don't give me that look. I am not gonna disturb you but I'll require a time for us to spend together."

Alexandrew's POV

I saw the note on top of my desk saying that my secretary is out. She really did use her time wisely.

For the meantime I checked the finance status of the company including the update of the Enchanted Scents distribution of products.

I sigh.

Why can't I get her off my mind? I can't work properly. I should stop thinking about her and anything related to her.

Kring kring.

"Hello, mom. What's up?"

"Andrea will be having dinner with us and I am hoping you will come too."

"Sure mom."

"Oh by the way, she brought her friend." I was about to take back what I said about going to the dinner but she ended the call.

I'm digging my own grave.

I really don't like it if Andrea bring her friend. Nothing good comes out of it. And that friend of her is so clingy.

Knock knock.

"Come in."

The door swung open and it revealed my cute secretary. I really find her cute. Don't get me wrong but she's a breath of fresh air.

"Sir, the Resources team wants me to give this to you."

"Thanks." I've been waiting for this report. I still see her standing and I guess there's something else she wants to tell me. "Is there something more you want to tell me?"

"Actually yes sir. It's not business related. . . kind of."

"It's alright. I am not only a businessman, ain't I?"

"What is your blood type?" That question shocked me and I laughed since I wasn't expecting her to ask me that.

"What is this for? Are you serious that is what you're gonna ask me?"

"Yes, Mr. West."

I fixed my tie. "Okay. I'm O negative. It is a rare blood type and my mom and I have the same blood type."

She bowed her head while saying thank you and left my office right after what I said. Why did she bow?
