Yedin's POV

"Ma'am - "

"Finally you're here Ms. Baek." She said with a smile on her face but it seems like she's quite not happy about something.

"Is there anything you want me to do?" I asked because I clearly have no idea of what I am doing here in here office.

"Not me Yedin. The department is happy with your amazing work. But since you are also qualified, oh let me rephrase that, over qualified to be Mr. West's secretary. He'll gi. . "

"Wait. What?! A secretary?"

"Calm down Yedin. I guess it will only be temporarily. You will have the same amount of pay. Other conditions will be discussed with you by Mr. West. You may now go up to his floor and present yourself, properly."

I didn't bother replying to her since my brain is not functioning properly. Why must it be me? Of all the peope working in this prestigious company, I'm pretty sure I am not the only one qualified for that job. The heck I am over qualified even.

But, I remembered something. The conversation I had with Mr. Philip West the day I got accepted in my job last 5 months ago.

"Ms. Baek, congratulations. Finance department will really appreciate having a really good employee."

"I hope so too, sir. I will do my best in this job." I said which is really obvious in my big smile. I am going to order 3 boxes of pizza, 20 packs of oreos, cans of sodas and hell lot of more.

"But I should say that I would really appreciate your helping hand if one of these days, someone will ask you to be a secretary. I know you are over qualified for that job but I know no one who can help the company in more that two or three assisting jobs. Don't worry, I will make sure you will have the same pay or even higher."

I can't possibly reject that since I have just received my acceptance in this company. So I nodded to him. "Anything sir." I replied to him. After that he instructed me to head down to the financial department to start working and get familiarize with how things are in the West Enterprises.

People working here can sometimes be called as an addict or someone who is really addicted with their work. In much easier way to explain, workaholic people who want to have a stable and decent job.

I knocked on the wooden door which is clearly made of the finest wood and with intricate designs of the curvings and style.

"Come in." Said by the talking door. Oh cheese. I mean by the person inside the room. Hearing his voice seems like different from Mr. Philip West. Well, I presume he had a voice changer.

When I came in and stepped inside the office of Mr. Phil - I mean, Mr. West, the younger version who is sitting with fixed eyes on the documents compiled on his desk appeared.

Wow I didn't know that you can look younger in just a matter of a snap of a finger.

Well, I'm just kidding. It is not possible.

"Mr. West? Uhmm I was told to come here." It seems more like a question than an introduction.

"You must be Ms. Baek? My new secretary, I assume. I'm Alexandrew West, the son of Philip West." Now it is clear to me who the person who looks like Mr. Philip in a much younger version.

"Sir, when do I start moving my stuff? And where will I be staying. . I mean my office area?"

"The office on that side, that is yours. You'll be starting to work tomorrow. There are a lot of things I want you to take care of. Especially my appointments and meetings. I heard from my father how smart you are and you can help me review some of the paper works." Way to go in explaining what will be my work as his secretary.

"Ah. Yes sir. Thank you."

"This is my tablet where you can organize my appointments. Write everything there. My informations are there and everything else you need as per the work. You are an asset of the company. I'm looking forward working with you Ms. Baek."

"Thank you Sir." I honestly don't have anything else to say. He's scaring the hell out of me. He is so intimidating.

After those conversations and introduction he instructed me to bring up my stuffs so that I can organize my working area.
