Chapter 32

-Day of the surgery-

Vale's POV

"Baby, you have to be strong okay? Mommy will be here." I am talking with my daughter few minutes before her surgery starts.

I'm quite worried because Alexandrew is not here and we don't have any insurance that the donated blood will suffice for the surgery.

He's annoying for making up those stupid stories. Why can't he ask me the whole truth? Well, I can't blame him since I also didn't ask him in the first place. I admit, we're both in fault but he's more stupid for believing that I had someone behind his back. When I was with him almost 24/7.

"Vale? Are you ready?"

"Yes, Dr. Williams. Please please I beg you to keep my daughter alive."

"I will. Rest assured. But, contact him if possible. He's needed here because there might be complications we're not prepared for."

I nodded as a response to him but I still don't know how to let him come here.

"Mommy?"

"Yes baby?"

"Who's him? Are you talking about the guy who went here last week?"

Oh my goodness. So, he saw her. That is one of the things I don't want to happen. At least what he knows is that she is not his daughter but mine from other guy.

"Yes baby. Why?"

"He looks handsome Mommy. His eyes were the same with mine that's why I can't stop looking at his eyes. Can I see him mommy? Please please."

"Okay baby as long as you do good in your operation."

After that she went back to lie down on the bed and she can't stop smiling. I feel like crying. She really wants to have a father and I could see how fond she already is of him.

Dr. Williams rubbed my shoulder to indicate that everything will be alright. He instructed the nurses to bring my daughter to the operating room and I kissed her on the forehead.

It is best for me to go to the prayer room than to keep on worrying here outside the operating room. Only God will be able to help me in this kind of situation.

Yedin's POV

What should I do? Goodness I really need to let my brain start working. How can I let Mr. West go to the hospital and let him know that Vale's daughter, Eunice, is his daughter too.

Wait a minute. I remembered something.

Flashback:

"Yedin, do you know about that korean restaurant down the road?"

"Yeah. I went there once because I was craving for something korean-ish."

"Hahaha I see. Could you go there and buy any korean dish?"

"You eat korean foods? Wow. That's fantastic."

"No Yedin. Actually my Korean cousin is here in London and I want to feed him something he would like to eat."

"What's the name of your cousin?"

"Joshua. Joshua Rain Lee."
