What do you listen to
When the music starts to lose meaning?
Who do you talk to
When everybody has stopped listening?
Do you resort to a blade
When you have lost all feeling?
Do you rely on a pill
When you no longer feel pain?
What do you do
When the people around you don't understand?
What do you think
When they are trying to understand?
Do you count on silence
To explain to others how you feel?
Do you promise an explanation
When you think they are ready?
What do you want
When you know there is nothing you can have?
What do you try
When things don't end the way you wanted them to?
Do you resort to alcohol
To forget about the loss and pain?
Do you become addicted
To the things you shouldn't to make you feel happy?
Do you see yourself in the mirror
And wish yourself away?
Do you hear what they say
And believe it because it's "true?"
Do you know what else is out there
To help you become better?
Do you know what you can do
When everything else in the world has failed?
Do you realize everything you are losing
When you give in to the pressure?
Do you know what you give up
When you listen to others?
Do you know that he is there to help?
And she is here to listen?
Do you know that there's a way out?
And it doesn't need to destroy your life?
Do you know that there is somebody out there
Who is dealing with the same thing too?
Do you think they know
There is someone just like them?
Have you ever realized
That you are never alone?
Have you noticed
That even when they are thousands of miles away,
You can always help them and make them feel at home?
