Poem #57// Loophole

I can't do it alone.
I need someone to count on.
I need someone to whisper secrets to.
I want someone to hold me when I'm shaking.
I want someone to tell me it's going to be okay,
Even though I know it won't be.

I want you to know that you'll be there for me.
I want you to help me.
I want you to be my friend and listen.
I want you still love me when you find out the truth.
I don't want you to run away from me.

I can't rely on you.
You said you would be there, but you weren't.
My worst fear came true.
For you left me and and for all.

You were real; you turned out to be something different.
We swore to trust one another; you betrayed me.
You swore to stay; you abandoned me.
I needed you; I lost you.

I told you everything; I made a mistake.
I let you comfort me; Now I feel disgust.
We were friends; Now we're strangers.
we tried so hard; Now I'm wondering why.

You're a loophole and a lie.
You're anyways changing.
One minute I told you everything.
The next you left and walked away.

I thought I knew you; I never truly did.
