It all came crashing down,
The weight of the world.
But it didn't happen all at once.
It came about slowly and unpredicted. The fractures came first.
I imagined them all over
And noticed small ones in my head.
But worse was get to come.
Then the cracks began to form.
I saw them spreading on the walls
And heard them in my mind.
I knew it would now be happening all the time. The walls opened next.
Everything was destroyed
In both the room and my mind.
But more things were starting to fall. Then the roof caved in.
It trapped me under six feet deep
And buried me in my thoughts.
But so much more was left to rot.The whole house was in ruins.
And yet, I refused to leave.
For no matter how much main was left there,
It will always remain a part of me.
