Third person POV

Hijikata-Senseis words hung in the almost tangible atmosphere; Souji was frozen in place while Saito was gaping in horror as blood dropped from his busted lip. "B-but sir!" The indigo haired boy cried.

"No Saito-Kun!" Hijikata barked at the blue eyed boy. "You can't expell him!" The boy scrambled to his feet, standing in front of the brown haired boy who was completely unmoving in disbelief. "You are bleeding at this very moment, you are on the student council you know all the rules and punishments off by heart Saito-Kun, you wrote a few yourself." Hijikata marched up to the brown haired boy and grabbed his collar.

"Souji was not the one to make me bleed, I was attacked and he was helping me up." Saito tried the excuse but the violet eyes man rested a hand on his shoulder. "You tried your best Saito, but you can't change who he is." Hijikata pulled Souji to his feet, starting to drag him down the corridor.

"Kondo-Sensei please!" Saito begged the head master, "I..." The large man sighed. "I'm sorry Saito-Kun." He bowed his head and turned to follow Hijikata and Okita. "No." Saito said loudly. "What?" Hijikata snapped.

"I said no! Souji didn't do anything wrong, he is being framed! By Chikage Kazama! Please let me explain this!" The boy begged the teachers. Souji stoop slumped shouldered, his clothing tugged upwards in the rough grip of Hijikata. "Saito, give it up." He mumbled.

"But Souji-"

"I let you down, I'm sorry. You don't have to waste your time on me anymore." He said, shrugging off Hijikatas  hand and trudging towards the office. The teachers stared sorrowfully at the young blue eyed tutor. "Go home Saito." Kondo said.

But he didn't go home, he stood outside the school gates watching the sky darken until Souji walked out an hour later; his head was hung in shame, his eyes misty at his lost dreams. "How many times do I have to say it?" Saito snapped, scaring the brown haired boy who thought he was alone.

"Saito, what are you still doing here?" He asked confused. "How many times do I have to say it Souji, to you, Hijikata and Kazama?" He demanded.
"Say what?"

"I am not wasting my time on you! I believe in you, even if you don't believe in yourself!" The younger boy grabbed the older students jumper, pulling him closer, "I'm not wasting my time. I have never thought so either."

Souji POV

"I have never thought so either."

Staring wide eyed at him, I didn't know what to say, "....Thank you for believing in me Hajime-Kun. Thank you for not giving up on me even when I was being an asshole. But....you don't have to anymore, it's done." I sighed. "I'm done."

"Well I'm not fucking done Okita Souji. You have come to far, we have come to far to just 'be done!' " he let go of me. "Meet me at my house at four tomorrow. We will continue wth your studies because you will be taking those exams." He said determinedly.

A soft smile ghosted on my lips at his fired up eyes, "You are the most amazing person I've ever known Hajime." I laughed and he pulled me to him, pressing his lips to mine he held my head, deepening the kiss himself. Pulling back I was shocked at this dominance. "I'm not done Souji."

****

It was four o clock as I walked down the street to Saitos house, my use-to-be school bad slung over my shoulder filled with my books; while walking I wondered how his day went, I wondered if he saw Kazama. My fist clenched at the thought of him.

"Okita-San!"

Looking behind me, Chizuru and Heisuke were running towards me, "Have you seen Saito-San today? He said he was gonna be in school." Chizuru said worriedly. "Yeah we looked for him at lunch but the teachers didn't see him either, was he with you?" Heisuke questioned.

"No he wasn't with me." I said, "Shit where is he then?" I mumbled aloud.

"I'm right here, calm down all of you." We turned to see Saito taking out his headphones as he approached us on the footpath. "Where were you?!" All three of us yelled and he jumped, "I was with Kondo-Sensei, Serizawa-Sensei and Hijikata-Sensei all day, pleading Soujis case."

"What case?" Heisuke asked.

"I got expelled." I sighed. "What?! How?!" Chizuru gasped. "For helping me." Saito cut in. "That's why I'm getting him back in school, will you guys help me?" He asked his friends.

Heisuke looked at me with pursed lips, eyeing me up. "You know I didn't really like you when I first met you, mainly because you hurt Saito." He told me honestly. "But....I think you two are good for each other, and I believe in second chances so I will help." I smiled, nodding silently at Heisuke.

All eyes turned to Chizuru, "I owe you for jumping out that window and saving me that day, but I want to help you anyway. I shall do what I can to help!" She grinned, nodding determinedly.

"See Souji, we all believe in you why don't you give it a try?" Saito chuckled at me, giving me a side glance out from his dark hair.

There we go! Another chapter for my warriors! Enjoy guys!
