Hajime POV

Tugging at the hem of my blue shirt, I looked up and saw a smiling Nyx walking towards me; his trench coat flying away at the ends, "Hey you," he grinned and hopped behind me, throwing his arms over my shoulders and leaning on my back. I held his hands that hung down my chest as my stomach fluttered with butterflies.

"Man that was the longest day of my life, who knew four hours could take four eternities?" Nyx whined into my shoulder and I chuckled, "Why'd it take so long?" I said and he peaked up from his brown fringe, "Because I was waiting to go on our date Hajime, you're so innocent it's kawaii!" He grinned, "Did I say that right?" He added and I chuckled.

"More or less." I laughed and he grinned, grabbing my hand, "Come on! My favourite sushi place is round the corner." He ran forward excitedly, dragging me with him. His smile was so bright it was like he was his own little sun, radiating brightness. Just being around him is making me immensely happy, I just wanna smile.

Blushing bright red at my extremely cringe thoughts, I picked up my pace and ran with Nyx before we got to a set of traffic lights. "You know I've lived in New York for almost like, three years but I've never actually explored it." I said, staring at a poster of the Statue of Liberty. Nyx gasped, "Well then that can be our second date, journey in New York #1. Hey we should film your first trip!" He said excitedly. I chuckled, ducking my head. He already wants a second date!

We got to the sushi place and I ordered in Japanese easily, then Nyx pointed out what he wanted and I said it too, "Is it bad that I think you talking in Japanese is super hot?" He winked at me from the side and I blushed. Smiling shyly I plucked the fish with my chopsticks and shoved it into my mouth. "N-no I don't thinks it weird." I mumbled and he smiled.

Behind us the doors opened and a complaining girl stormed in, in front of a brown haired boy with his back to us, "I told you I'm on a diet!" She screeched and Nyx set his head on the counter, "I hope they don't stay, I don't want that as background noise on our first date Hajime." He sighed but I leant down, blowing his fringe out of his eyes, "It won't ruin our first date, just zone them out."

"You need to eat!" The brown haired boy retorted to the girl as the tool a seat behind us. I chuckled, "So what are ou studying in school?" I asked Nyx. He beamed, "Film, journalism and technology. I'm a huge film freak, I love everything and want to be a director." He said excitedly, his eyes shinning.

"That's really interesting, what got you into filming?" I said curiously, "Well I got my first camera when I was eleven and would make short films with my friends at the weekends, after school, during the summer. No one would really understand them except us but it was always fun. Then I got into the film and production programme at Yale and am on my way to the big time!"

For the next hour we talked about our passions, mine teaching, his directing and producing; Nyx's apartment is filled with cameras laptops and technology of all kinds, he even built his own computer twice. "I just took two older ones apart, bought a few better parts and rebuilt a new one - no biggie." He shrugged it off but I was amazed. He loves physics too.

"Whoa it's like ten minutes till we have class!" He said and my face fell, "Crap we're gonna be late!" I pulled out my wallet before he covered my hands with his, "I asked you out, my treat." He winked and handed over the money, "You didn't have too..."

"I wanted too." He smiled with a half shrug, next thing I knew he snatched my hand and was pulling me from the store. Turning my head, a blurred vision of someone if never thought I'd see appeared. The brunette sat at the window, headphones in staring directly at me bright green eyes wide as his mouth gaped. He jolted out of his seat, but we turned the corner and he sushi restaurant  was out of view. Souji?

Nyx's laugh brought me out of my trance, the urge to run back to the restaurant deflated but didn't disappear completely, "What class do you have now?" Nyx asked me, "Huh? Oh uh history. How about you?" I replied.

He thought for a second before clapping his hands excitedly, "I'm getting my assignment!" He grinned, "We are given something for a journalism assignment! I hope I get something good, like the Captain America premiere or something film related."

Walking through the school gates, we were holding hands still, a few girls awed at the sight and I went bright red. "Not used to all this attention huh?" Nyx smiled and I shook my head, "No, the only person I was in a relationship with only lasted a few weeks. Only two of my friends knew about it." I sighed shakily.

Smirking, Nyx grabbed the belt loops on my jeans and pulled me to him, "I have a question a Hajime Saito." He smirked, "Will you be my boyfriend?" He asked. My hammering heart stopped completely as flashs of that night came back to me. Damn him, get out of my head! Staring at Nyx's brown eyes I couldn't help but picture his deep jade ones, the mischievous glint always sparkling in the corner.

Stop thinking of him!! He's gone!! He dumped you!!

Nyx's face began to look awkward, to fix this I quickly pressed my lips to his and blushed red, "Yes, I'd really like that." I smiled shyly looking down. E laughed it loud then hit my arm, "Don't do that! You scared the shit out of me I thought you were gonna say no!" He laughed and slipped an arm around my waist, "Boyfriend. Hell yeah I love that." He grinned.

Souji POV

"I'm on a diet!" Nina screeched just as I opened the door to the sushi bar. Damn it, this whole damn relationship is a publicity stunt. Kettei entered me into the multinational American Martials Championships and New York is where it held. The busy streets, pushy people and buzzing atmosphere reminded me of Tokyo where I spent the Worlds.

"You need to eat!" I argued with her, "You haven't eaten at all today!" I sighed as we sat down. A waiter came over, a young kid who bowed to us, "Konnichiwa, may I take your order?"  He asked in a think Japanese accent. "Hai, byōki supaishīna maguro o motte ite kudasai." I said and he nodded, scribbling it down.

Nina glared at me, "What the hell did you just say?" She snapped and I chuckled. "I said, 'I'll have the spicy tuna please.' Your turn honey." I rolled my eyes sarcastically and she glared. "I'm not hungry." I groaned. "Fine. Sorry and tea please."

"Hai, right away sir." The boy scurried away back the counter. Nina was glaring at me between glances on her phone.  My tuna came and I are it hungrily, damn my freaking training is killer in the morning. Yawning tiredly, I stuck my headphones in listening to old study notes. I swear these things are the only way I can survive being with her.

The sound of the bar zoned out as his voice filled my ears, closing my tired eyes I pictured us in the library his pristine uniform, organised near books sitting next to my torn, dog-eared ones. The door of the bar opened behind me, the sudden gust of wind pushing my hair into my face as I looked out the window.

Eyes wide, my heart stopped at the blue eyed, purple haired man being pulled out the door by another brunette haired guy. The recordings played through my ears, his voice filling my mind as I stared at him. The real him. Leaping from my seat, I rushed out the door but he was already gone, out of sight. Running out down the street I looked both ways, my highschool phone clutched in my hand. Hajime?

Oooooooooooo! I haven't updated in absolutely ages but I've been revising so I'm sorrrrrryyy warriors!!!
