Chapter 31: Hey Senior!

Saito POV

"HAPPY FIRST DAY OF BEING THE YOUNGEST SENIOR!" Jason yelled as I opened my front door on the first day of my new school year. "Oh, haha thanks." I mumbled, shrugging my bag over my shoulder. "Is that like your favourite shirt? You wear it all the time." Jason laughed as I closed the door. Looking down at my torso I stared at the blue shirt. "Yes, it is." I replied as we began walking to school.

"Still can't believe you ditched till the last week of summer, dude we didn't even get hang out once!" Jason whined. "Sorry. You probably would have gotten bored of me anyway..." I spoke bitterly. "Yeah right. Anyway Connor and Seb are hopefully gonna be in my class so I won't be a loner! But you still have to eat lunch with us everyday and before and after school." He nudged me with a grin. "Okay."

He stared at me as we continued walking then he sighed heavily, "Hajime I told you you shouldn't have gone back." He put a hand on my shoulder and I gritted my teeth. "I know." I whispered squeezing my eyes tightly shut. "Okay that's it!" Opening my eyes Jason had an annoyed expression on his face.

"What happened. Tell me exactly what happened when you went back to Japan because you're even more broken now than when you first came to our school." He demanded off me. "Jason I don't want to talk about it..." I trailed off and continued walking. "Hajime come on!" He urged me.

"Just keep walking or we'll be late." I said and hurried down the footpath. "I will get you to talk. But if I can't please tell someone, it's not healthy to keep all that heartache bottled up inside." He sighed, jogging to catch up with me. "What would you know about heartache?" I said rather viciously.

His eyes widened at me before he chuckled. "I thought I'd found the girl I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. I loved her with all my heart and....she dumped me. Saying she found someone else, turns out she had been seeing this other guy for a few weeks behind my back. " my mouth hung open as he told me. "I-I'm sorry I shouldn't have said something like that." I apologised and he chuckled.

"It's okay, I got over it eventually but for a while I felt like I would never have anyone else. That no one could ever make me feel as happy as she made me feel. But then I found Ella." He had a cheesy grin on his face. "So you have to move on Hajime. It's okay for it to hurt for a while and to miss them but, you can't hold on to something that's not there anymore okay?" He asked me and I nodded.

"Thank you Jason." I said as we reached school. "I'll talk to you later." I said and headed towards the office to grab my new timetable, new locker and new home room. "Hajime Saito." I said and she nodded. "Isn't it exciting going to be a senior?" The woman grinned at me. "Uh hai I mean yes." I said and she giggled, "Do you miss your friends in Japan Hajime? I'm sure you'll make loads of new friend in you new classes." She grinned at me. Damn it why did have to bring them up!

My voice tightened and I nodded, leaving quickly to my new form room. Everyone looked up at stared at me, "Wasn't he a second year? What is he doing in a seniors class?" Whispers filtered through the room so I sat over at the window and out my headphones in. Looking at my timetable I stared at my classes, History, Literature, Maths, Physics and Chemistry, higher awards in all of them. Still am the nerd then.

The day started and I walked to each of my senior classes and sat quietly taking notes or reading through the textbooks or work schemes to see what will be coming up this year. "Hajime isn't it?" I looked up to the teacher. "Yes." I said.
"Why don't you do this equation for me?" She handed me the white board maker so I headed to the board and did the physics equation quickly and sat down.

"Where did you learn this equation? It hasn't been taught yet?" She asked confused. "Oh I used to tutor physics back in Japan and was taught this in second year. I just read ahead really and learnt it I my spare time." I told her and she smiled. "Your my kind of student, alright class please copy down Hajime's perfect example."

I was shot a few glares but ignored them and packed up my books as it was lunch next. The bell rang and I went to find Jason and the guys. "Hey senior!" I turned to see Sam smiling, her blond hair was up in a high pony tail with a luminous pink bow in her head. "Hey Sam, how was your summer?" I asked her and she shrugged. "Boring, nothing much happened. So how's senior life treating you?" She asked as we headed to the lunch hall. "Uh, it's okay I guess."

"We'll give it some time. HEY LOOK ITS THE GUYS! HEY JASON ELLA STOP MAKING OUT!" She bellowed as the lunch hall went silent at her entrance. "God damn it." I chuckled at her entrance. Jason and Ella were bright red when we sat down. "Sup love birds. Where is Skylar and the other duo?" She asked.

"Connor and Seb are on lunch detention for kissing in class." Jason said laughing. "It's the first day." I said shocked and he laughed, "I know! Skylar is..."

"Right behind you! What's up motherfuckers." He grinned at us. His blonde hair was even lighter than when he left before the summer. "Thought you said it was raining in England?" I asked and he nodded. "It did but the there was a sudden heat wave and it was pretty nice. Hey your a senior how are your classes?"

"They're okay. I just need to give it a little...time." I looked at Jason who sighed in relief and smiled at me.  "Yeah it just takes a little time." He repeated.

HEYO warriors! How ya doing? I'm pissed off but I'll be okay eventually. Hopefully....maybe....

I watched the Hakuouki movies on KissAnime and I cried, a lot. THEY ARE BETTER AND SADDER THAN THE MOVIES AND RYUUNOSUKE IS IN THEM GUYS GO WATCH EM!

SPOILERS FOR THE HAKUOUKI MOVIES FAIR WARNING

Oh and Hakuouki means Pale Sakura (cherry blossom) which Kazama names Hijikata-San after their battle SPOILER!!!!! Hijikata LIVES! I cried so much cuz I lost my Hajime-Kun but Toshi survived this time.

BUT I WANT MY HAJIME KUN BACK IT ISNT FAIR I DIDNT WANT HIM TO BE A FURY 😭😭😭😭😭😭
