Saito POV

I was leaving for airport in two hours, I couldn't do anything to change my future or what will happen to me after I leave Japan, but there is still one thing I can do - get Souji back into school.

Calling at each of the persons who had written Soujis a letter, houses I made my way to the school for the last time.

Walking past the steel gate, I headed for the main blue doors, walking straight past my old home room and towards the principles office. Knocking, I waited patiently outside. "Come in." Kondo-Sensei said.

"Good morning Sensei, these are the finals pieces needed to reinstate Souji as a student, seven letters of recommendation, to add to the case." I said setting down the seven white envelops in his desk.

"Seven?" He said confused. "Yes seven." I repeated, a flutter of panic coursing through me. "You needed eight Saito-Kun. Seven isn't enough."
My eyes went wide at his words. "B-but-!"

"He forgot mine." Lashing around I saw Hijikata-Sensei standing with a white letter in his hand. "Hijikata-Sensei!" I said utterly shocked. He walked over, setting his letter down. "Kazama retracted his entire statement and confessed to everything Hajime alleged he'd done. Their stories match, and he has written proof. It's with my letter in here." He poked the letter.

A thankful smile decorated my face, I bowed low, gratefulto him, "You were right about him Saito-Kun, he just needed someone like you after all." Hijikata-Sensei smirked. "Well if that's all I shall call Souji and his parents now. Telling him he better be here by lunch." With that Hijikata left.

"Wait sir! How did you get Kazama to confess?" I said confused and the violet eyed man smirked evilly. "I...persuaded him. I'll leave it at that, let's just say I never trusted that pretty boy." He winked at me.

After having a twenty minute conversation with Kondo-Sensei, his door burst open, Chizuru and Heisuke grabbing me in bone crushing hugs. "WE ARE GONNA MISS YOU SO MUCH SAITO SAN!" They wailed, "Who's gonna help me not fail Maths?!" Heisuke sobbed.

"BUT WHAT ABOUT OUR WINTER SNOW BUNNIES I CANT MAKE THEM ALONE!" Chizuru wept.

"Hey now you two, it's okay, I'm just in another country we can keep in contact. I'm not going to forget my bestfriends." I hugged them both.

"What about your boyfriend?"

We looked up to see Souji in the doorway, my face burns crimson at his words. "EH YOU'RE GAY?!" Heisuke shrieked. "HA TOLD YOU! YOU OWE ME A BOX OF POCKEY!" Chizuru laughed and Heisuke grumbled.
"YOU GUYS KNEW?" I yelled and they laughed. "Sure! There is bestfriend close then there is you and Souji close." Heisuke chuckled.

"Ahem." Kondo cleared his throat and we all froze. "Why don't you kids say your goodbyes, I'll give you some privacy." He left the room, laughing heartily.

Souji grabbed my arms, pulling me to him and crashing my lips to his, "You did it Hajime-Kun, you little nerd you did it!" He exclaimed excitedly. Sadness fell on my heart, glancing at my watch I realised I had to get home as I had to leave soon. "Guys...it's time." I gulped.

Chizurus eyes glistened with tears and she held me tightly, "Be safe over there, don't forget us right?" She whale press and I kissed her head. "I would never." I said and next was Heisuke who was a blubbering mess.

"B-b-but WHY! W-w-why do y-you have t-to g-go?!" Laughing bitterly I hugged him as well. "Just promise me you won't be late anymore?" I said and he sniffed, wiping his nose with his sleeve and puffing out his chest. "I promise I shall never be late again Saito-San!" He saluted me and I nodded.

"Chizuru make sure you make a snow bunny for me every year and send me pictures when the cherry blossoms bloom, I'm going to miss it." I sighed and she nodded. "I will." She sniffed.

Lastly I turned to Souji, "And you." I said firmly to him. His green eyes were stormy as multiple emotions washed over him, "Don't be late, try your hardest in all your classes and please don't ever, ever give up on yourself or your dream." I hugged him around the neck.

He wrapped his arms around my back, squeezing me to him, then turned his head to me and kissing me passionately, my heart began to ache as leaving him got closer. "I wish we could stay together forever." He sighed. "You'll be okay without me, I promise." I whispered into his ear.

"Well, goodbye guys. Don't forget me right?" I said only half joking, they nodded through tears, "We promise." They chorused. "Stick together you three, I'll know you're all safe that way." I waved goodbye to them as I left Kondos office and walked down the hallways towards the main doors again.

"So your actually leaving huh?" Kazama pushed off the wall he was leaning against. My guard went up as I stared at him, "Yes, if you try anything-" He cut me off. "I won't. I'm sorry for the way I acted. Please let us part in good terms." He held out his hand to me.

Staring at him, I thought over this past school year; it has been the most eventful year of my life. Looking at his hand I took a deep breathe , "I forgive you. Goodbye Chikage-Senpai."

"Goodbye Saito-Kun may you be happy in the next chapter of your life." He wished me luck as I turned to the doors of the school. Once I walk out of these doors, I'll never walk back in. Taking a deep breathe, I looked to the sky outside of the threshold, "Well," I thought reminiscently, "Fortune comes to those who smile, keep smiling guys." I thought of my two bestfriends and boyfriend.

Stepping out the school doors, I headed home. The car was waiting for me, my mother in the drivers seat, slipping into the passenger seat, I plugged my headphones in and closed my eyes.

Ah emotions cuz who needs to be happy when you can be heartbroken right?
