Saito POV

After spending weeks looking at multiple apartments close to campus, I finally decided on a small two bedroom apartment with one bathroom which had a shower and a bath surprisingly, and a living room with a shared kitchen over a breakfast bar. "This looks perfect." I muttered to myself.

"Hey Hajime! It has another bedroom! I can crash here whenever I want then!" Jason laughed as he ran out of the room. "Yeah you can, and calm down!" I laughed at him. He shrugged, "So are you gonna move in here? How's the rent?" He asked me. "Uh it's not cheap but with the apprenticeship I've been working with for the past year I can actually afford this pretty well, plus I'll be doing teaching practice and getting paid for it so yeah I'll think I'm gonna take this." I said grinning to myself.

Jason put a hand on my shoulder, "It's needs a little work but if I know you, which I do," I chuckled at him, "Then this place will work perfectly for you. Would you change the second bedroom into something else?" He asked and I shrugged. "Maybe a study. Right come on I have a lease to sign." I pushed him out the door and he laughed.

"We can throw you a moving in party!" He jumped excitedly, "No you can't." I shook my head, "I'm not into parties much, but you can all come over when ever ." I said and he sighed. "Buzzkill..." He mumbled and I punched him in the arm. "OW! I DO NOT GET HOW YOU ARE SO STRONG DO YOU EVEN WORK OUT?!" Jason cried and I shrugged. "From time to time."

I met with the buildings manager and he asked about my age, job etc. My mother had to call and give her permission for me to have the apartment myself since I wasn't eighteen yet. I will be before school starts though. "Here is your key, rent is due the first week of every month." The old man spoke in a gruff voice slightly reminding me of Kondo-Sensei.

"Thank you." I said and heads towards the front doors of the building, "Need help packing?" Jason offered and I nodded. "That would be great, I'd love to be moved in by the end of July." I said and he nodded. Everyone helped out, I didn't have much to pack it was mainly just school related things as I'm not sentimental....I looked at my blue shirt....well not very sentimental at least.

"Dude how many books to you own!" Skylar dropped the third box of books inside my apartment. "Uh quite a few I guess." I chuckled. "A few?! Bro you have enough to fill a god damn library." He mumbled and grabbed a can of Coke from the fridge. I went back down the stairs of the building to Connors car and stacked two more boxes into my arms. "Damn it, I do have a lot of books..." I clenched my teeth and trudged up the stairs.

Setting the last few boxes down, everyone collapsed on the sofa I had brought from my room, two desk chairs and an armchair I bought in a charity shop for twenty bucks. "Woo! So your officially moved in! Yeah! ...I need a beer." Jason dropped his head back onto the sofa and we all laughed.

"Thanks guys, I really appreciate it." I breathed heavily. "Well now all you have to do is help us lot move out when we leave highschool next summer." Sam winked at me and I nodded. "That's a promise." I grinned and they laughed.

The summer weeks passed easily, we spent majority of our days out in the sun, the park, and even went to Connors family out of state for ten days. Soon though the last two weeks dawned on everyone as we all began to prepare for school again. "I haven't even bought stationary yet!" Ella panicked. "You have two weeks till school, chill." Jason said relaxing on my sofa. I honestly think he's claimed that spot permanently, I chuckled at my thought.

"Ella I'm going to get stuff today, we can go together if you'd like." I offered and she squealed, hugging me round the neck. "Thank you Hajime!"

"Well at least I don't have to worry about you cheating on me since Hajime's gay." Jason joked but Ella didn't find it too funny, "What's that supposed to mean?" She snapped. Oh shit. "Nothing! It was a bad joke, sorry." Jason suddenly sat up. "Do you not trust me or something Jason?" Ella questioned, hands on hips.

"Ah...I'm sure he didn't mean it that way Ella, you know his jokes suck. We all do, don't take it to heart." I said to her and she sighed, nodding. "Come on let's go get our stuff." I said and she went to grab her bag. "Why would you say something like that?" I snapped at him and he shrugged, rubbing his face. "I didn't mean to! Bad joke okay? That's all." He mumbled.

"She's not like your ex Jason, Ella has a heart of gold she would never cheat on you." I grabbed my wallet as I spoke. Ella reminds me of Chizuru-chan in so many ways not just her short delicate appearance, brown eyes and brown hair; it's her characteristics, she's so gentle.

Ella and I left Jason in my apartment and went to buy books, folders, stationary and bags for our new school years. While staring at some files, a voice caught my attention - well more like the language they spoke in. Standing on the tops of my feet, I looked across the Isles before my eyes landed on a tall black haired man and another black haired man who hair spiked around the edges. "Hijikata-San? Kondo-San?" I said doubtfully but walked over anyway.

It is them! "Hijikata-San?" I said and he turned to me, "Saito-Kun? What a surprise to see you here!" He spoke in Japanese. "Well I live not too far from here. I'm actually with my friend Ella-chan to buy new things for school." I informed them. "It's so good to see you Saito-kun." Kondo-San smiled at me.

"Hajime?" Ella looked at me confused. "Oh Ella these are my forme teachers from Hakuouki High School in Japan." I explained in English. "This is Hijikata-San or rather Mr Hijikata in English I gues. And this is Mr Kondo." I introduced them and they smiled at her.

"Uh...k-konnichiwa?" She stuttered and I smiled at her effort. "I'm Ella." She held out her hand and they shook it. "So are you the guys who gave Hajime here the inspiration to become a teacher?" She asked and they gasped. "Your going to be a teacher Saito-Kun?" Kondo as me and I nodded. "Hai Sensei." I replied forgetting Ella didn't understand.

"I always thought you'd be a brilliant teacher, especially after Souji. Have you kept contact with him or Heisuke or Chizuru-chan?" Hijikata asked me. My chest tightened at the mention of his name, "I...I have not kept contact with...S-Souji. However I have with Heisuke and Chizuru. I hope they will be able to visit at Christmas." I said and my teachers nodded.

"Well we must be going, it's good to see you Saito-kun." They left the shop as it became hard to breathe, damn it Hajime pull yourself together! It's just a goddamn name! It's just a name.
