Jason's POV-
My phone went off with the only ringtone I knew who it was by heart, Natilee. "Hello?" "Hey. It's Nat. We just landed and are waiting on our bags." Her accent was thicker than mine but so fucking adorable. "Alright. On my way." "Hey Jason!" "Yeah?" She hesitated for a moment, probably smiling. I know that mainly because Rose was in the background mocking her for it. "We're gonna have to work on that draw of yours. You know that right?" I laughed. "Yeah. Good luck with that." "I don't need luck! I have Bunny!" She laughed. I rolled my eyes and laughed again. "And I'm gonna teach you to talk like you should! You will be part of the swamp family!" I heard Bunny say through the phone. "Ok! Fine! I'm leaving; see you in a few." "Kay! See you soon!" She said excitedly. I hung up and leaned against my car. Can she not? I mean she's killing me over here. I want so badly to ask her out but I don't want to risk our friendship and make things weird. I have a way of doing that. I got in the car and went to the airport.
I walked through the big glass doors and saw Nat as soon as I did. Rose and Bunny are kinda hard to miss with their personalities but Natilee is somewhat shy and hidden. Her brown hair fell over her shoulders just barely showing the dark purple tips. She turned and smacked Rose's arm and Rose turned and waved. I walked up and hugged each of them. Natilee last because why not. I'm gonna watch how she acts around me to see if maybe she likes me back and tell Rose so she can help me if she does. "Why am I last to get a hug?" Nat looked up at me before accepting the hug. "Because I saved the best for last." I smiled and she held out her arms. Maybe I don't just like her. Maybe I'm in love with Natilee.
