I walked around the party, snatching at food and staring back at all the other people who glared at me. I just wanted them to leave me alone. It was enough already I had to put up with that annoying violin music. No one paid any attention to anyway. I chewed on a square shaped piece of bread. I have to admit though, this food was at its fineest. I walked, along the table, sipping on a red drink I picked up from the refreshments table. I walked in to the woods, followed by some lovey-dovey couple. I just wanted to go there to move away from everyone. I'm not used to being around people I'm sort of uncomfortable.
As I pushed through the branches, I spotted a tree stub that was far away from people. Perfect. I sat down, now marking it as my territory. I closed my eyes and sniffed up the delicious food and the greenery. This was peaceful, well, at least it was helping me escape from all these thoughts crammed in my head.
Voices crept closer. Looks like they were arguing. I decided to ignore it. Something cold and liquidy streamed down my face. It's raining? I sniffed at it as it fell towards my nose. No! It smelled like the drink I just had. I opened my eyes in rage. "WHAT THE HELL!" I yelled, getting up, shaking my wet hair and drying my face with the end of the cape.
"I'm so sorry!" A girl replied. She was a red head, wearing a long casual dress that covered most of her skin. She was arguing with a younger child, probably her sister, they shared the same hair tone.
"I don't know what those glasses are suppose to do, but I think they're suppose to help you see!" I argued. She opened her mouth in surprise and furrowed her eyebrows.
"Well, it seems like you don't understand the value of an apology!" She replied, fixing her glasses.
"Girl scram away if you know what's good for you!" I yelled. Great now I look like I'm covered in blood.
"Excuse me?! I think you owe me an apology!" She told me.
"An apology! Why? Was I the one who dropped juice on you?!" I asked.
"No! But you owe me one for being rude! I said sorry! You should learn to accept it!" She yelled.
"Sorry doesn't do anything!" I yelled. Her sincere face flipped in to a scowl.
"Oh, my dear mistress, would you like me to pat every part until it's dry?" She asked with sarcasm.
"Well, sure I'd like that!" I played along.
"Listen! I'm sorry! Just accept it!" She yelled.
"How can I?! You've wet my clothes, I look ridiculous!" I pointed out. A few people lingering around looked at us. They've seriously have got to mind their own business.
"Oh dear! Why are you with her!" Someone said, dragging the girl away from me. "Don't you know? She's Satan!" The person whispered to her when they were a bit far.
"I HEARD THAT!" I yelled at her, as she quickly ran out of the forest with the two girls.
