We left the gates of the palace and walked further away. I felt like the happiest woman on this planet. A huge load of weight had fell off of me.

Lilly and James skipped in front of us, rapidly talking with excitement. Lancer and I held hands, looking away from each other's faces. I walked by the Hetailian academy with a confident pose. Alexander glared and stuck a tounge out. Lancer caught him and punch a big dent in to the fence.

"Hey kid, want to try facing me?!" He whispered, with an evil smile. Alexander walked back and ran away.

"Hey there, gloomy couples," a well mannered voice called. A horse carriage trotted by.

"Samuel?" I gasped, untying my hands from Lancer's.

"Took you long enough to guess," He mumbled. "Need a ride?" He asked.

"We'll be going over to my place," Lancer said.

"How come?" I asked. He rolled his eyes.

"Do you want to live in a chicken coop with three noisy children?" He replied. He had a point there. I smiled and jumped in.

"I thought you left," I conversed with Samuel. Lancer and James argued in the background as he lifted James in, who looked quiet embarrased.

"I wouldn't. Welcome back heroes," Samuel greeted, tipping his hat and showing a crisp black dyed hair with slight gray streaks. I smiled. It was about time.

"Thank you." Lancer and I replied, recalling our crazy adventures along the way.

---------------------

"Open up you old geezer." Lancer yelled, banging on his house door.

"Calm your horses!" Zeck's voice rang from the other side. The door swung open. "Yea, who are you?" he asked.

"The old man has gotten so old and rotten, he can't even recognize his own family," Lancer joked. Zeck narrowed his eyes.

"Excuse me, I don't know anyone with a really bad hair day and silver eyes, you do have a big ego like my son, but other than that I do not know you and if you may, I ask you to leave, please do." Zeck said. Lancer groaned and I poked my head from behind him.

"Hey! Zeck!" I greeted. His eyes lit up in surprise.

"Kali! Oh my lord!" He cried out.

"So you noticed her and not your son?" Lancer said. Zeck glared at him and stared at me and the three others.

"He is Lancer, um, guess he went through some changes?" I told him. Zeck face palmed his self.

"I'm so done with this trouble maker. Here come inside you guys, and tell me everything I need to know. While your at it go change in to decent clothes. It's like you guys went through a hurricane!" Zeck said.

We went and sat on the chairs and couch, filling any open space. "Okay....," Zeck mumbled looking at the kids awkwardly. Espicially Gina. He stared back at me, looking up and down, then shook his head.

"Zeck, please take out what ever thought that was," I told him.

Lancer told him everything he should know, but leaving a few details out. "So those two kids and the infant are orphans. Phew, good, I mean...never mind," Zeck mumbled. "Its hard to imagine, but hey you guys are back, it's all what really counts in the end," He said.

"The old man is getting sentimental," Lancer mumbled reviving a whack in the neck.

"Sort of, you know, we...lost Vinny...," I trailed off. Lancer placed a hand on my shoulder.

"Vinny wants you to continue living a great life and not mourn for her," Lancer reassured. I smiled and nodded in respect of her death.

"Now what." Zeck asked suspiciously eyeing Lancer, who placed a grin on his face.

"Some people will be moving here....," Lancer trailed on.

"Continue...," Zeck said.

"Yeah...they'll be living with us...," Lancer continued. Zeck sighed and got up.

"What ever, those poor kids, and Kali is welcome any time," He agreed. I got up and bear hugged the life out of him. Kira popped up, surprising the life out of Zeck.

"Oh it's that creature. I guess she could stay too," Zeck sighed.

"You're the best!" I cheered. Lancer tugged my shirt and brought me crashing down to him.

"Stop hugging my dad he's an old man. How come you never did that to me." He grumbled and leaned over. The tips of our noses touched and he brought his lips to mine. He kissed me. "Hey," He pulled back, licking his lips. I stared at him, no words to say, with a gawking mouth. "Be my wife," He ordered. My face flushed, I couldn't see my surroundings, everything was focused on him. I felt like I was going to black out. I recall it was bad to have all your blood clogged in one place. I spoke up.

"Yea." I whispered and flashed a smile. He broke down his serious face in a grin and leaned again, when Zeck lifted him up from the collar and thew him off me.

"What very polite manners. Young man, do you need to get some pounded in ya!" He snarled, attacking Lancer with furies of fists.

"Aha..hahaha," I laughed nervously, looking at James an Lilly, who did their best to keep an innocent face.

"And what the heck! When will your eyes change back?!" Zeck asked.

---------5 years later-----------

"Come here ya little brats!" Lancer grumbled, trying to catch the three kids. I sat stretching out myself on the couch, sipping a jug of water. "Hey!" Lancer snarled. I glanced his way.

"Come and help me! They're your kids as well!" He argued with his shoulder length ponytail being tugged on. Seriously, I have to cut it for him somehow.

"It's all because of Gina. Stop her for me will you," I sighed.

"Now minions! Attack the big ugwy piwate!" Gina cheered. Even thought she's six, she still holds on to that baby accent of her's.

"Yea!" Elizabeth cheered.

"Ah...but isn't he our daddy?" Jake asked cluelessly.

"That's right, now come here son." Lancer commanded, standing tall and glaring down at him.

"Um, forget daddy. Let's just play!" Elizabeth cheered.

"Uh..okay!" Jake said, and the three head butted Lancer in the stomach. Boom. He hit the floor hard.

"Crap!" I said getting up, and I slipped sliding towards Lancer. "STOP TURNING THE FLOOR IN TO ICE WHEN EVER YOUR ANGRY! YOU MAY NOT WANT TO WACK THE KIDS BUT DON'T GO GIVING THEM A FEVER AND A BRUISE" I yelled. Lancer's long hair covered his eyes, decorated with fluffy snow flakes. Without looking at his eyes, I knew those kids were in deep trouble. I leaned over and picked out the ice from his hair. "Now Lancer, relax," I soothed. His breath slowed down. "They're just kids, we can't help it," I said, not letting go until I make sure he looses his murder intent. He grinned, got up and kissed me. I kissed him back.

"Ew! Mommy and daddy kissy, kissy! Ew, ew, ew!" Elizabeth and Jake chanted. Lancer got up and grabbed them both, pinning them to the floor.

"Now, you kids need a lesson." Lancer evilly grined.

"The attack of...." Jake started.

"Tickle monster!" Elizabeth gasped. And off he went tickling the kids until their breathing was nearly cut off. I felt something cold run down my head. Egg yolk?

"Gina!" I yelled, slamming my fist and burning a hole in the floor.

"Gina! Come back here!" Anna's voice grumbled from the kitchen. Anna came to live with us four years ago. She did right to follow Lancer's words. The door tumbled open and a flying James was knocked in to the couch, flipping it over. A very, very, angry Lilly cracked her hands and locked her gaze on James, slowly walking towards him. A small girl, shyly hid behind her mother.

"Hannah, darling, sit there with Uncle Lancer," Lilly calmly told her daughter. She glanced at James. "The eleventh time...a village girl..comes to me crying...because you sir James dumped her!!!" She yelled, pulling his ear. James looked over to me for help, slipping at the ice as he tried to escape Lilly. I was busy tackling Gina. Kira, who was napping in the corner, yawned and purred. She took the role of a house cat now.

"Ow! Ow! I'm sorry it's not my fault! They're the one who follow me around! I have no choice when they ask me out! I don't want them to cry!" He defended. Honestly, despite his electrifying hair and his messy shape, James is a cute 17 year old boy. Lilly, despite not having any Drakiin blood, was really strong. I guess because she and Lancer are twins.

"Be a man!" Lilly growled, pinching him.

"I can't believe this. We're setting a world record. The eleventh time I have to replace this crappy door." Zeck mumbled, staring at the ruins and puffing on his cigar. "Lancer, it's on you." He said. Lancer looked up, struggling with a small hand pulling his hair.

"Dad! I'm not paying for the eleventh time!" He argued. Zeck gave him a glare that even I grew to fear.

"You dare speak. You freeload out of my house so pay for something!" Zeck scolded.

"But I pay for everything!" Lancer argued, sounding as if he was close to tears. Zeck threw his cigar.

"Father, please throw your cigar outside." Anna said, sweet talking, and swept the cigar out. Zeck smiled warmly at her, running a hand through his hair.
