Rose POV

My heart drops as i hear Casey yelling " FIREFIGHTER DOWN , FIREFIGHTER DOWN .JOE FELL ALL THE WAY TO THE BASEMENT . WE NEED BACK UP NOW . "  They brought Joe out and i could tell he was beat up pretty bad . As they put Joe on the gurney i checked his vitals and they wasn't the best , he was unconscious  and we didn't know if he had a serious head injury or internal bleeding . He flat lined several times , but i got him back . We got to the hospital , but now its a waiting game . 

*Several hours later 

Joe POV 

I woke up with bright lights shining on me , that's when i was realizing i was in the hospital .  I felt like a semi - truck hit me then ran over me . I looked around and saw Rose sleeping peacefully . Then the doctor came in waking up Rose . I had internal bleeding and a mild concussion . After the doctor gave me pain meds it was just me and Rose . She had tears in her eyes and she lost it . She cam over and was hugging me " you scared me " , and "Don't ever do that to me again " After she calmed down she looked tired and i told her to go home , so she gave me a kiss on the cheek and I was all alone again . 

6 months later 

Kelly POV 

I loved being with Rose , but what i didn't like was how her and Joe acted together . As i was walking to the locker room I saw her hugging Joe , which i did not like . I walked over to my locker and Rose came over and gave me a kiss , and me and her was talking till she had to go on a call . That gave me the opportunity to confront Joe . He was busy training so I waited . After he was finished I asked him to talk in private and that's when i went off "Back off Rose , she isn't dating you so stay off her , ok ? " Joe was pissed by now " IS IT A CRIME FOR HER TO HUG ME , STOP ACTING LIKE YOU OWN HER  . YOU PROBABLY ONLY USE HER FOR SEX . Joe yelled back .

Rose POV 

We got back from a call when i went to see Severide and him and Joe was arguing . When I walked up to them they didn't even notice and when they realized I was there they shut up . " YOU GUYS NEED TO GROW UP FOR ONCE AND STOP ACTING LIKE 2 YEAR OLDS CAUSE IF YOU GUYS ARE GOING TO ARGUE OVER ME I WILL TRANSFER HOUSES , YOUR OPTION . I'M TIRED OF BOTH YOU GUYS ACTING LIKE YOU OWN ME ."  I yelled back and then stormed off .
