I'd Be Better Off

Kelly POV 

I woke up with a pounding headache , then I started to wonder where I was . After my eyes adjusted , I realized I was at Rose's house . I got up went down stairs and saw Rose on her phone . She saw me "Good Morning." , she said . Then gave me medicine and water , "Good Morning , and thanks." I responded back . " Herman called last night telling me you were super drunk and to come down , I was going to take you home but i was worried you might hurt yourself some how , so i brung you home and led you to the guest bedroom. And you knocked out . But why did you go get drunk like that for?" , She finished and I looked down not knowing what to say , then I said "I don't know , when you broke up with me yesterday it just killed me cause I love you Rose and i'm sorry for me arguing with Joe about him staying away from you . I had no right to tell him that , i'm sorry ." I finished 

Rose POV 

Again it broke my heart to hear Kelly say all that . "Listen Kelly , i'm sorry for hurting you yesterday , but I think it would be better off if we just stay friends , close friends , cause you are a amazing guy but I think being friends is better . One day you will find a girl way better and that would want to start a life with you ." I finished , i couldn't look at him cause I had tears in my eyes . " I'm sorry." Before i gave him a hug and one last kiss . He shortly left after that and I called my friend who is a real estate agent to see if there was any good apartments in the area near the Fire Department I was going to be working at .

Rose POV 

Chief had everybody go into the meeting room so I could tell them i was leaving . "You guys are probably wondering why you guys are here listening to me blabber , but i'm transferring to house 25." I said , " Wait , what?" said Gabby in shock , "I love this place , but honestly I fill like i'm a bother to you guys." I responded back . Everybody was looking at me stupid . "Don't you ever think that Rose . We love you to death . Why would you think that for ?" , Herman asked . "Thanks , I don't know why i think that , but the transfer papers went thru and I already have my stuff packed and in my car . I wanted to say that the past 6 months have been amazing . Again thank you for everything ." , I knew it wasn't the truth for me leaving but I didn't want to be the one for someone getting killed .

Joe POV 

When Rose said she was transferring I wanted to grab her and tape her to a chair telling her she isn't going anywhere but i had to be realistic . After she gave everybody good-bye hugs, she came and gave me a hug and whispered in my ear "I love you Joe Joe , don't forget that , but it would be better off if i transferred . I'm sorry ." She gave me a kiss on the cheek and before I could say anything , she was gone. Again.
