Joe POV

I just got here in Florida. My brother Leon came and picked me up from the airport. "Hey Bro, how you doing?" Leon asked "You know the same old. How's school going?" I asked Leon "Makeing straight A's, bro" He responded "So what brings you down here to Florida?" He asked "I just needed a little vacation." I said "Yeah ok, you wouldn't get on a plane, unless you had too." Leon said "Ok right now me and Rose are taking a little break but we are going to hopefully get back together when I get back home, and if we do I got a big suprise to give here when I get back." I responded back. Leon nodes and we continue our day.

*Back in Chicago

Rose POV

I got up and got ready for shift. As I was getting ready I put this necklace on that Joe gave me on our 6 month anniversary. We've been to together for about 2 years. It's crazy how time flies. I just hope he wants to stay together when he gets back. It's hard not having him here with me. I got everything I needed and was off to work.

*a few hours after shift started

"Ambulance 61, kitchen accident, 2951 J street"

Me and Sylvia arrived at our location and when we go in, to my suprise I see a old friend with a bloody hand. "Hey Seth, long time no see, what happened?" I asked as I set my first aid kit down. "Hey Rose, I was cutting some vegetables up and I set my knife down and I some how accidentally slid my hand across the blade when I went to reach for something and I didn't think it was that deep but I guess I was wrong." Seth responded back. "Let me take a look." I said. I examined it and started to wrap it in gauze. "Ok, it looks like you are going to definitely need stitches, so let's get you to Chicago med." I finished. We got him into the ambulance and to the hostpital. As I was about to leave with the gurney Seth said "Hey, can I talk to you?" "Yeah, of course let me give the gurney back to Sylvia." I said as I walked out I give the gurney to Sylvia. "So who's your friend?" She asked all curious. I laughed "He's just a friend from school. He moved here in middle school and me and him talked here and there. When we got into high school me and him became a little closer and hung out a lot." I smiled at the old memories. "Girl, I know you and Joe are together but you two would make a cute couple." Sylvia said. I looked at her and shake my head "No, we don't" I said "ok, whatever you say." Sylvia said. Me and her both laughed. I walked back into Seth room. Me and him talked about a few stuff ranging from, how everything was going, to what we have been up to for several years now.  "Wow, I've really missed us being together, we need to catch up." Seth said and continued to say "Can I have your number and we can maybe catch up at a restaurant or bar sometime when we are both free?" He finished "Uh, yeah of course." I said I gave him my number. "Well it was nice seeing you again, but I've got to go,I'll see you later." I said. "Yeah, of course, it was nice talking to you." He said and then motioned he wanted a hug. I went to give him a hug thinking it was going to be a quick one but turned out to be along one. It was getting quite awkward, he just didn't want to let go. "Um, Seth, I need to go." I sorta laughed. I said goodbye again and then headed to the rig. That was awkward, I thought. The only person I like giving me hugs that long is Joe.

Sorry it's not that long and Boring, but consider this chapter as a opener to other chapters in the future. I would of posted sooner but I lost track of what the date was and when I looked it has been over 3 weeks since I posed so here's a chapter for you.
