"Finally" i said as they called me to walk across the stage to get my paramedic diploma and certification . I can finally get a job and start a new step in my life . Yes , it did take a lot of work , but i succeeded . Now , next step is finding a job at a Fire House .
6 Months later :
After so many months of trying to find a good Fire House , I found a job opportunity and took it . It was Friday and I had a interview with Fire House 51 Chief Wallace Boden . I was nerves , but i shouldn't be cause I had good test scores and lots of Fire Houses in Chicago would love to have me as one of their paramedics . Chief kept looking down at my paper work and i couldn't tell if his facial expressions were good or bad . He looked up and said "I like your personality ,and your test scores are amazing , WELCOME to Fire House 51 ! " I sat there shocked and crying tears of joy " Thank you so much ." I stood up shaking his hand . " You're welcome , your first shift starts Monday , don't be late , and when you get here i'll be introducing you to everybody else ." Chief said. I thanked him again and left super excited for a new step in my life .
Chief POV
I interviewed this smart girl who wanted to work for Ambulance 61 . I gave her the job cause I think she's cut out for it . I said " I like your personality , and your test scores are amazing , WELCOME to Fire House 51 . " . She was shocked and replied " Thank you so much ." . We both stood up and shacked hands and i said " Your first shift starts Monday , don't be late , and when you get here i'll be introducing you to everybody else ." . I gave her uniform to her and she left with tears of joy . I can't wait to see how good she is by what her test scores say .
Rose POV
As i got back to Sarah's house I was thinking what i needed to do next ...... wait , hold up what Fire House Joe worked at ? At this point my stomach was in knots and I was so nervous . I didn't look and see what Fire House he worked at . Great , now I don't want to go in Monday , but i'm just hoping he doesn't work at 51 .
