Rose POV 

Another shift and no calls , that's always fun . NOT , i had to worry about what i was going to wear . i wanted to ask Sylvia or Gabby , but I didn't want the to  know about the date . Then , i could fill the tension between Kelly and Joe . While i was at my locker Kelly came up to me " Hey Beautiful " I look at him and smiled " Hey , what you up to ?" I said , " Nothing , just coming to see what time you wanted me to come pick you up ?" he responded , I stood there for a minute and told him " how about 6:00 ? " , " Sounds good to me ." he said back . Then he kissed my check and left . I wasn't sure about him but i was going to give him a shot and see how it goes .

Joe POV 

As I was walking my car I saw Rose putting her stuff in her car . I wanted to see if she wanted to take her out for a drink so we could keep catching up on each other . I asked " Would you want to go get a drink with me later tonight ? "  She smiled at me and looked away . " I already got plans for tonight , i'm sorry . " I told her it was ok maybe another time . i know the "plans" are with Kelly . I'm not stupid . After 6 years of not seeing her but when she finally gets back she has to go out with Kelly . No shocker there he gets all the girls . 

Rose POV 

For the date i wore a black dress that fit my curves perfectly with sexy red zipper-up stilettos . My makeup was a cat eye eyeliner , with fake eyelashes . I had full face makeup with the classic red lipstick . He took me to a fancy restaurant that was expensive . It was an amazing night . I love his personality funny , chilled , laid back , cool , sweet guy . I'm going to to give this relationship a try but no promises it's going to last . I'm just afraid how Joe will react to the news of it being official that we are dating . 

*skips to next shift 

Dispatcher :

Truck 81 , Engine 51 , Squad 3 , Ambulance 61 , Battalion 25 ; House fire on 3014 East Roan Street .

Everybody got into there trucks and was off , everybody arrived and truck and squad went in to house search . As me and Sylvia was waiting for them to bring victims out , we heard screaming over the radios . I was hoping they wasn't going to say anybody from our house especially Joe was hurt but next thing i hear is Casey yelling over the radio " FIREFIGHTER DOWN , FIREFIGHTER DOWN . JOE FELL ALL THE WAY TO THE BASEMENT . WE NEED BACK UP NOW ."
