Trying to Belong

Chapter 10

Rey was studying in the lunch/dinner hall. She was aware people were watching her more. Ren put a stop to her cutting classes and Luke forbade her from leaving at all but Leia said if she wanted something from town she'd go with her. It was the first time they'd actually ever did anything... parenty. When she had enough of studying she found Amethyst back at the room.

"What should I get your unborn child as a present?" Rey asked as she began to open up cupboards, taking out a mug, and tea etc.

"A new family." she groaned, looking at all the things Leia did. "This is scaring me."

"Yes, besides that." Rey replied.

"Clothes, babies can't do much for a few months. Maybe a shit ton of diapers. Basic things."

"Ok then. So this is what Leia did?" Rey asked and looked at the receipts and photos on the table of stuff.

"Yeah. She put all this furniture on hold, and was gossiping to all the employees that she's going to be a grandmother. They were confused since no one really knows who her son is. And Kylo has been avoiding her all week."

"Why?"

"Well when a woman gets excited she will never shut up about it."

"Kinda degrading the female gender there..." Rey uttered and Amethyst rolled her eyes.

"Have you noticed how hot Kylo's suits were recently?" Amethyst asked.

"No. Not really. I'm too busy paying attention to the fact he's a complete and utter ass hole!" Rey responded.

"I have." Finn said and walked into kitchen with Poe by his side.

"When-How?" Rey asked.

"Yes the black on black on black really fits his personality!" Poe commented.

"It does. I picked out that tie though!" Amethyst replied.

"They all look the same!" Rey said.

"No!" the two men and Amethyst said to Rey who rolled her eyes.

"This one he wore today has a small floral pattern on it. Yesterday was the boxed pattern!" Amethyst explained.

"THEY ALL LOOK THE SAME!" Rey yelled. She couldn't stand it anymore.She couldn't stand anything.

"Look at that, the stress is getting to her." Poe said.

"Don't be a hater dear." Amethyst said and laughed. "Leia wants to use Lemon, again. I'm not digging the yellow."

"Lemon and yellow are two different colours." Rey said. "You can eat lemon but can't eat yellow."

"You're so strange! And you didn't notice the ties!" Amethyst responded.

"And you didn't notice the condom broke until it was too late." Rey responded.

"Oh burn!" Poe and Finn said at the same time.

"What are you guys doing here?" Rey asked the boys.

"This came for you to my mail box. There was a note inside asking to give to you. A laptop and a letter. Is it from your hot fugitive boyfriend?" asked Finn.

"Guys! He's not my boyfriend. And you know I've seen better looking than Jacob." Rey responded, annoyed.

"He's her boy toy," amethyst said and snickered.
