Missing

Chapter Eleven

Tobias POV.

It's been two days and Tris is no where to be found, they have already played the message through the city eight times and all the factions know. I don't really mind that we went back to the faction system after the Bureau incident,  Zeke is now the Dauntless Leader. With this much help, I have high hopes of finding her. The apartment feels cold without Tris' everyday glow, and I have a picture framed of me and her right after Dauntless initiation. I hold onto it everyday.. I go out once every morning with the search committee myself and the Abnegation run. We have been looking all over Chicago for Tris, and we haven't found her yet. We have looked through all of the factions except for Amity, we will be heading there next week since each faction takes a week to clear. The new initiates enter the Dauntless headquarters, hitting the net. The search committee will continue while I train them, I really though this year the initiates would have two instructors instead of just one. We will find her, I know it.

Tris POV.

I blink my eyes, I know because I can feel them moving. It's dark and I am really confused. But now I remember being attacked while I was on my walk through the compound. I don't know who it was because the covered my nose and mouth with a cloth full of chemicals. I go to sit up and figure out where I am but I hit my head when I barely sit up. I stretch my arms to the side and they can't even reach a ninety degree angle, and that's when I notice the sound of tires going over dirt. I'm in a trunk. I bang the top of the trunk but it doesn't budge so I start to kick it and all I do is make a small dent and lots of noise. I hear the car stop and I freeze, I lay down and pretend I'm still unconscious because it's my first instinct. I then feel rays of sun beating down on me and I need to squint my eyes, even though they are closed because it's so bright, but no, I can't they can't know I am awake. Strong hands lift me from the back of my knees, and around my back letting my neck snap back. I slightly open my eyes and see apple trees, why are we in Amity? I hear Johanna, thank god she's here! "Is that Tris? What is wring with her Max?" Max, the old Dauntless leader took one of his two prodigies, but why? "She fell asleep in the car, her and Four are spending the night here but he won't be here until later so I drove Tris." I was to sit up and scream and yell what happened, but that would cause chaos, I can't. "Oh alright, we'll go on ahead then." I feel Max start walking again and he's walking away from the dormitory, I am not here to spend a night with Tobias, and I am not going somewhere safe.
