Tobias POV.

It's been about two weeks now and me and Tris have finally planned our wedding to the best it can be, and it's faction themed. I look at Tris, laying in bed from where I sit on the couch, she looks so peaceful.... other than the chemotherapy hooked up to her inner forearm. It's been very uneventful recently with all that's been going on but we are cherishing every moment we have while she's alive.

Tris POV.

I wake to a chilly house and a sleeping Tobias on the couch, why was he there? I slowly get up careful not to rip out my IV and wheel the chemotherapy to the kitchen to make tea, in the meantime I also turn up the heat.

"Let's make two cups just in case someone wakes up." I whisper to myself. I then look over my shoulder and look at Tobias, he looks like he is in such a deep and good dream I don't want to wake him. It's as if while in sleep it looks that nothing could hurt him, take away what he cares for, that none of this tragedy that fled our way happened. I wish it were that way, the way it was when I question if we were in peace, while me and Tobias return from Zeke's party. The way it was when I'd admire the Dauntless in everything they do. The way it was when nothing was so hard. I shake it off with an "Everything happens for a reason," and then go wake up Tobias.  "Tobiasss..." "Tooobiaasssss." I say sweetly, his eyes eventually flutter open and he smiles. "Good morning love," he says groggily.
"I made you tea."
"Oh why thank you!" he reaches for the mug and I give it to him.
"Why were you sleeping on the couch?" He looks up confused and then a wave of realization hits his face.
"Ohhhh, I was watching you sleep, looking so peaceful I must've fallen asleep on the couch myself." I nod and sit beside him. "It's all going to be okay you know? Our wedding next week will be grand and I will love you even after you are watching over me." He says gripping my hand, squeezing, then releasing. I think about my life ending and I feel a tear run down my cheek. I just wish that it wasn't over so early. I'm only eighteen... It's a scary thought to know when you'll exactly die, but a beautiful one at the same time. "Anything you'd like to do today?" Tobias asks me. "I'm not sure... Maybe we could go for a walk, or have a small get together slash party." I say smirking. "Tris... I don't know if you're capable of having party." He says shaking his head. "What do you mean? I'm perfectly capable of having a party. The only thing wrong with me if an overpopulated cell amount, and the chemotherapy is only there to help get rid of most of what it can, but it's not going to help me. I'm going to die. I can't stop it. I took a bullet to the shoulder, stomach, hip, and more, I don't think a little cancer will stop me from having a party. I want to live my last moments to the fullest." I say sternly with protest. "Wow... Your way with words is magnificent Beatrice Prior, soon to be Eaton. I will let everyone know about a party now." He says smiling and I thank him. "What are we planning on doing?" He asks
"Dare," I say with an evil smirk.
"You don't me- mean the dare with the booze and the crazy idiotic events do you?" Tobias asks with worry. "Of course I do!" I say clapping my hands. He laughs a breathily laugh and says okay.

Ten pm. Our apartment. Few people such as Christina, Zeke, Shauna, Tobias, myself, and Hector....
"Um.. Hector, aren't you a little under aged to drink?" He smiles. "I'm fourteen now, I'm a little rebellious and reckless, I'm dauntless. There's no drinking age." I laugh and bring him aside and ask "So how have you been since your sisters have been gone? You know Lynn and Marlene?" He looks down and tells me about how he believes they are saving a spot for him in heaven and I smile. "I'll say hello to them soon okay?" He gives a pity full smile and agrees. I then walk away and tell everyone to get to the train. "Babe?" I ask Tobias "Yea is everything alright? Do you need your IV?" I laugh "No, Hector's playing make an extra vile and put some gross juice in it to make him think it's alcohol." He smiles "smart." He says.

We are on the train and we are getting ready for the first dare. "Tris, you're party. You start." Tobias says I smile and say "Hector, Mr. I'm fourteen now, a little rebellious and reckless. I dare you go up to Jack Kang in Candor HQ's and say "Namaste in Dauntless so I can keep my secrets." Hector smiles and takes a swig of juice, and we all jump off and run into Candor. We reach his office but we all stay in the corridor except for Hector, he bows with his hands folded in prayer and says "Namaste..." And then he flailes his arms and continues "IN DAUNTLESS SO I CAN KEEP MY SECRETS!" We run out laughing and Jack Kang just looks at his book shaking his head.

Tobias POV.
Four hours later...

"Love, it's late can we go home and get some sleep? I'm tired." Tris asks. "Of course." I say smiling softly rubbing her back. "We're off everyone! Have a nice night!" Tobias says waving. They all say goodnight and we jump off the train and go home.

When we arrive I carry Tris to bed and she lays down exhausted. I fetch her pyjamas for her and leave to let her change. I end up finding myself looking out onto the balcony, like the time I was when Tris approached me asking what my tattoo was. Where it all started. I love her.
