Chapter Nine

A few weeks later...
Tobias POV.

"Helloooooo guys!" Zeke says sitting down at our table in the cafeteria. "Hey Zeke, what's up?"
"Nothin', where's Tris?" He asks
"She's getting food. How's Shauna?"
"She's good! This weird thing she's doing, I can't remember the name, it's like physics... Phisiciato...." He attempts. Tris sits down beside me laughing, quite a bit.
"Physiotherapy?" Tris asks still laughing,
"Yea! How did you know?" Zeke says shocked.
"I learned about it in faction history at school!" For some reasons she's beaming today, she's really happy. I start rubbing her back, and Zeke continues.
"Yea so she's learning to walk again, and they are guessing by the end of the month she'll be back to normal again!" He says happily.
"Hey that's great Zeke," I say smiling. We all eventually finish our food, and shortly before Christina and Shauna joined us. "Oh guys! I almost forgot I'm having a Candor or Dauntless party tonight, any of you up for it?" We all nod in agreement and then Tris offers to go back to our room so we do.

We are walking to our room hand in hand and Tris says "Do you think all our problems are over now? It's been almost a month of us being unharmed and I'm getting curious if we've finally approached peace.." I run my thumb up and down her palm and say
"I can't guarantee that we won't ever come across any problem ever again but I am positive that we won't have anymore wars, and anything to do with Marcus." 

"And David, what happened to him?" she questions.

"Oh I forgot to tell you!" I smack my forehead with the heel of my palm, "He got executed while you were in a coma." I look down at her. She looks at me and smiles.

"Perfect," is all she says.

Tris POV.

I hear a knock on the door but Tobias beats me to it. He answers it and sees Christina, "Hey Christina, anything you need?" Tobias politely says,
"Yea, is Tris here? I almost forgot, she's giving me a makeover before the party, greeeeaaaaat...
"Yea I'm here!" I say a little louder for her to here, since I'm all the way in the bedroom, trying to find something to wear. "Why is Chris here Tris?" He asks
"She wants to give me a makeover and I told her she could, just let her in." I say, "Come on in!" Tobias says happily. Tobias walks over to me and folds me in his arms, "Make sure to wear layers," he says smirking,
"Why?" I ask. "Because if you don't want to do a Candor or Dauntless order you have to remove an article of clothing." He says. I look down at my feet and blush, "Oh yeah and socks and shoes don't count." He adds.
"Really?" I say disappointed. "Yeah, I'm sorry I didn't make the rules," Tobias says while breathily laughing.

Christina finishes up on my hair, which she curled, and then I go get dressed. I wear a pair of black leggings, black jeans, - black tank top, another black tank top which is loose and flowy, and a black leather jacket. Christina ended up putting black eyeliner on me, mascara, and a deep red lipstick. I finish tying up my combat boots and then walk out into our living room. Tobias looks at me in awe and says "You look beautiful." I smile and say "Thank you, and you're very handsome." He takes my hand and all three us of walk to Zeke and Shauna's place.

"My apartment I go first!" Zeke shouts. We are all sitting in a circle on the floor and he starts.
"Four, Candor or Dauntless." He asks.
"Dauntless, obviously" he says laughing. Zeke smirks, this can't be anything good. "I dare you to go into the pit and find the closest person near you and say the chocolate cake is magical. Then twirl in a circle and run away." I laugh because I can't ever picture Tobias doing something like that. "It's on." He says.
"Who are the witnesses?" Christina asks? Mine and Zeke's hand shoot up. We go with Tobias, and stand on the side of the pit while he walks down. He walks into the centre of the room, and goes up to a boy with brown hair and leans in close to his ear and says "The chocolate cake is magical!" In a high pitched fairy like voice. Making the boy jump. "What the..." The boy says and Tobias twirls and then runs up to us. I fall the ground laughing so hard and Tobias picks me up, draping me over his shoulder, with my butt in the air. I would yell at him to put me down but I'm still laughing. When we get back to the apartment, he sets me down and I say "I have... never seen you do somethi..... something like that before!" I say catching my breathe from laughing so hard. He laughs a little and pulls me to his side. Tobias then speaks up, "Christina, Candor or Dauntless?" She responds with Dauntless. "I dare you to sit still while Zeke draws a moustache on your face with marker. Christina claps her hands together and says "Alright!" Zeke gets a black marker and draws a poorly drawn, squiggly moustache on Christina and she start laughing afterwards.
"Tris! Candor or Dauntless?" Christina asks me. "Dauntless" I respond. "I dare you to kiss the person you have a crush on in this room, and if you don't like anyone, kiss the best looking." I turn to Tobias and kiss him full on the lips and he kisses back. I hear a few gasps, I almost forgot none of these people know I'm with Tobias, except for Will, who saw us kiss at the ranking ceremony, but he's dead.. I pull away and say "I forgot to tell you guys, me and Four are together."They all start clapping and I have no clue why." I laugh a little and Tobias rubs my back. Smiling.

The rest of the night we settle down with some Candor questions and eventually everyone goes home. Tonight was a good night, and somehow I managed to keep all of my layers on.
