Kelli's POV
__________

It was finally Friday. It was game day. I couldn't wait for the game. I was all antsy in ELA. People were looking at me like I was crazy. I knew I was, but I was so excited to catch today. Mrs. Pasquale walked up to me. "Are you okay?" she asked. "Yea," I said. "I'm just really excited. The championship game is today and we are the home team. I'm looking for a win today. That would be frikkin awesome." "Well, you got school too, so you can keep that excitement and pay attention at the same time." she said. "Yea, sure thing." I said. "I just can't help it though." "I feel you." she said. "I think I might be able to make it. Oh, and hows the friend issue coming along? I see that people are giving you a hard time." "Yeah." I said. "I'm pretty ticked off right now. It is starting to affect my grades, it's bothering me so much. It's like I barely have any friends."

"Don't blame you at all." she said. "This is the age when all the drama happens. I went through it myself. Don't let it bother you and hang out with the people you trust." "That's what I'm doing and I don't think I'm doing a good job with that." I said. "I'm gonna transfer if I am not happy by the end of the year." "Well, just take it one class at a time and soon, you will be playing your game." She said. "But you're doing great in this class. You have a 90 average." "I'll try to get through the day." I said. "You can try to make the game if you want." She nodded and walked back to get desk.

I kept looking at the clock and sighed. I was already done with my classwork. I just took out my iPad and started writing music. The song was about just someone who screwed up her life and wishes she could change everything, but knows that nothing will change and she should just live with get burden. I finished and went onto another song. This one was about a girl who wishes people would like her for who she is. That is exactly how I felt after writing it.

Then the bell rang. I ran downstairs to argumentation and debate. Mr. Sapir was there, and he saw me walk in. "Hi, Kelli." He said. "I'm going to your game today. I wish you the best of luck." "Thank you." I said. "I'm catching today. I can already picture the runners I throw out and it's many." "Well, I can't wait to watch." He said. "When is it?" "It's at 6:00." I said. "The first night game."

"Oh, you have plenty of time to practice." He said. "Yea, we are going to go to Friday's for a late lunch." I said. "Then we go right to the field and practice until our opponent arrives." "Well, I can't wait." He said. "Play hard and have fun." Then Annabelle walked in asking with the others. "Remember the deal?" She asked. "Cause you are wearing something you shouldn't today." She pointed to my necklace.

Mr. Sapir walked over to get a closer look at the necklace. "It's a necklace." He said. "Why shouldn't she wear it? Do you have a problem with jewelry or something?" My classmates laughed. She shot a dirty look as her eyes glowed red. Mr. Sapir, Abby, Brendan, and John flinched. The others smiled. I shot her a look back as my eyes turned yellow. "Okay, what's going on?" Mr. Sapir asked.

"Don't worry, we're related." Annabelle said. "Not really." I said. "It's distant." "Either way." Annabelle said. "We still are." "Alright." I said. "Let's change the subject. Why the necklace?" "Because you can't wear it during the game." She said. "Um durr." I said. "It's obvious. I'm not gonna wear that during the game." "Yea, but you're not allowed to wear that after lunch." She said.

"What?" I screamed. "Why do you want me to suffer so much?" "Because I'm like that." She said. I stood up. "Make me." I said. She stood up and pinned me to the door. "You will give me that necklace or I will show everyone at that game who you really are." I resisted. "Not a chance." I said. "You will try, but you won't get what you want. I'm sure that your threat from my first varsity game is just a scare. I know my way around girls like you."

I grabbed her wrist and dug my nails into it making her scream. "How could you?" She hissed. "You're lucky I didn't go hardcore." I said. "You wouldn't be here. However, I wouldn't have been here as well, so I won't." "If I see you with that necklace on, I'll be sure that you will have a bad time." She said. I knew I'd have to watch out.
