Slytherin commen room

As I ran after Lavender I started panicking what was I going to say I mean I cant just ask her out shes with Parvati.

"Lavender!" I called after her "Lavender!" As she turned around her face just lit up she had a cute little grin and big brown eyes they reminded me of Lexi. "Ummm I was wondering if you wanted to come watch tryouts after lunch today," well done that failed.

"I would love to Ron" she much to my suprise.

"You will oh great see you there then" I said running off waving goodbye. I have to go find see if its ok and if not shes comeing anyway I mean she comes to the tryouts normally. To watch but I think its nice I asked her it was a good first move I think. I shame I'm soposed to be at potions in 10 minutes. Go ta go now and get my books from the commen room. I  picked up the pace and started running towards the griffondor commen room in doing so I ran into something I was forced backwards when I looked up I saw it was Lexi.

"Oh um I'm sorry" she stuttered before walking off quickly she still seems uncomftable with me ever since I confronted her a few minutes ago. I got up and kept on walking.

Meanwhile

Ah, the Slytherin common room. It’s the one place at Hogwarts that really feels like home – here, a place filled with only people that are my equals – and with its low ceilings and rich, gothic furnishings. And all the slythering colours.

The common room dungeon extends partway under the Black Lake, which means from the windows there is view of the greeny waters – a couple of years ago Marcus Flint swore that he saw the giant squid from the windows –and it gives the lighting of the room in general a turquoise-colored tinge.

Seeing as the bells have only just gone for break-time, the common room is almost empty; but, draped on a dark green leather sofa by the fireside is the handsome silhouette of a young man with white-blonde hair. His back is turned from us – from me – but I recognize him instantly.

“Draco,” I purr before I can stop myself. All right, we stopped dating half-way through last year, and I’m with Blaise now, but something in me just can’t resist. Cant resist Draco.

Draco half-turns his head in response to my voice.

I slink over to him, and seductively slide onto the sofa next to him. But Crabbe and Goyle, like two excited puppies being reunited with their master, bumble up behind me and slide in between us. I roll my eyes. What dorks.

Blaise, however, coolly strides over to stand in front of the fire. “We just ran into your little "friend" outside, Draco,” he announces coldly.

I watch Draco carefully, who flinches. “Really?” he says, in too casual a voice for it to be real. “What did she say?”

Blaise titters darkly. He gets out his wand and starts shooting flames onto the almost-dead fire, re-lighting it. The fire spits and crackles. “We didn’t really stop to have a chat, did we, Pansy?” Blaise mutters. “Unlike you, Draco, we don’t think Ravenclaws are worth our precious time.”

Draco shakes his head and leans back into the sofa. “You’re over-reacting about this whole thing, Blaise. You know why I’m doing this.”

“On the contrary, Draco, I have no idea why you’re doing this,” Blaise says, turning to face him. “You need the stupid girl – so just stupefy her and bring her over to the Manor, get it over with. I don’t know why you’re messing around with her.”

“I’m not messing around, I’m playing my game tactically,” Draco snaps, looking down at his hands. “Lexi's a popular girl – and she told me the other day Weasley’s one of her best friends. If she suddenly disappears, there’s going to be a lot of unwanted attention. No. I have to make her feel comfortable with me… then she won’t make a fuss. She’ll leave quietly hopefully.”
