LILY:

If this girl is my roommate, you might as well as kill me now! There is no way I'm going to survive a single day!!!

"Hi," I say trying my best to be nice.

"What do you want?" she says rudely.

"Um, I don't know....." I say. Well, I was right about her being a sassy stuck-up brat.

"Why are you here anyways?" She asks is a super annoying voice. She must think she owns the world or something.

"Sadly, my parents forced me to come here and ruined my life!" I practically yell.

"My daddy, AKA the president, thought this was a nice cruise ship, that didn't have any poor people and had good schooling for me. But apparently, he was wrong. And now I have to deal with you as a roommate," she says while examining me from top to bottom before giving me a disgusted look.

Ok, I'm just gonna leave before she gets me put in jail or killed or something crazy.

I walk out the door and turn to the left. I run down the hall and turn to the right, crashing into someone. She gets up and holds out her hand. I guess she was going help me up or something. I get myself up, I'm not that weak.

"Sorry," she apologizes. She looks about my age and has on black converse with a cute red top and jeans. Well, at least she has good style.

"Oh, no. I'm sorry I rushed around the corner and wasn't paying attention," I say.

"It's fine," she smiles. "It would seem you were running away from someone... were you?" she asks looking around the corner.

"Well, not exactly. No one was chasing me, but I was running away from my room. Which consists of my roommate."

She gives me a weird look and says, "Um, I don't really get what you're saying..."

"Let me just say my roommate is, Mckenzie. And her father just so happens to be the president!!!"

"Mckenzie, you were running from Mckenzie?!?" She snickers, "did she tell you what her father was the president of?"

"Um, well, um....technically, no."

She laughs, "Mckenzie's father is the president of Washington High School, not America!"

"Oh," I shrug, feeling a little embarrassed.

She starts laughing hysterically. " You're new here aren't you?"

"Ya, I just arrived today."

"Ok, then let me properly introduce myself. I'm Abigail. I'm 16 and I'm a sophomore. I have been here for one year and it is literally the best school ever!!!"

I introduce myself and she shows me the lunch place. We both grab lunch and go sit down. We talk and I can tell that I just made my first new friend and it's only my first day! Maybe my mom is right, maybe this won't be so bad after all.
