24: Answering

I cannot believe that she just asked me out. I was too chicken to ask her out and here she is asking me out. I guess I should answer. Should I say yes, I mean it would be rude to say no. We could go on like a triple date... if Jackson and Thomas say yes. Maybe I should talk to them first. Because it would be awkward if they both said no and then I had to go on a date with just her...

"Um, sure we could go on a triple date," I say.

"Okay cool, maybe like tomorrow night then," she says.

"Okay, that works."

"Cya around," she says as she walks away.

Omigosh did you really just say yes Blake. Seriously, Jackson and Thomas are never going to let you live this down. That was a HUGE mistake!

I shake my head and walk slowly to my room. I walk in and there sitting on my bed are Jackson and Thomas smiling sorta evilly.

"Hey, guys, what ya been up to?" I ask as casually as possible, but I can tell they know something.

"Just waiting for you to get back, what was the holdup?" Jackson asks smirking.

"Just a long line at the Pigout. Ya know how that is," I answer.

Gosh Blake, you just lied to your best friend. That was a smart move, not!

"Really?" Thomas questions.

"No," I answer honestly.

"Then want were you doing?" Jackson asks.

"Gosh, you guys are so nosey!" They laugh. "I was just talking to Lily."

"Did she ask you out?" Jackson asks.

"Um ya, how did you know that?"

"Well Sarah, Lily's friend asked me out," Thomas says.

"And Abigail, I think her name is, asked me out," Jackson adds.

"What did you guys say?"

"They told us that Lily would be asking you out sometime tonight and that we could possibly go on a triple date," Jackson begins.

"And so we told them that if you said yes then we would go on a triple date altogether," Thomas says smiling, "So, did you say yes?"

"Ya," I mumble.

"Really?!?" Thomas says shocked.

"Yes! I won! You owe me ten bucks. Pay up!" Jackson says.

Thomas pulls a ten dollar bill out of his pocket and hands it to Jackson. "I can't believe it," he grumbles.

"What just happened?" I ask a little confused.

"Well, Thomas and I made a bet on ten bucks. He bet you would say no to Lily and I bet that you would say yes. I knew you would say yes because you could never hurt a girls feelings," Jackson says.

"I so could!" I reply.

"Maybe, but not Lily's," Jackson adds.

I stay silent. For all I know he is right.

"So I guess we have a triple date tomorrow night then," Thomas says trying to break the silence.

"I guess so," I say, "I wonder where we are going."

"I'm guessing Chuck E. Cheese!" Jackson says smiling.

"Why?" Thomas asks.

"Because they have the best pizza ever. Duh!" he answers.

We all laugh.
