LILY:
It's finally dinner time and I am starving!!! I get in the dinner line. I fill my tray with a bunch of delicious food and walk over to where Abigail and Sarah are sitting. I set my tray down next to Abigail and slowly begin to walk over to where Blake is sitting.
Okay, you can do this Lily. Just act normal, this isn't weird. "Hey, can I ask you a quick question?" I say trying my best not to be too awkward.
"Um, I guess so," he says.
"Did you happen to go to Lincoln Middle School, in Southern Oregon?"
"Ya," he says nodding his head with a confused expression on his face. "But I only went there from 6th and 7th grade."
"Okay, thanks. I was just wondering. Bye!" I say awkwardly and walk away.
"What did he say?" Abigail asks.
"He said that he went to Lincoln Middle School, but only for 6th and 7th grade..." Ohmigosh! I knew it, I just knew it! That's him, that's Blake. The popular and super rude soccer and basketball jock from middle school. Man, he was a jerk, but he doesn't seem so bad anymore.

BLAKE:
"Dude, she is soooo weird," Thomas comments as Lily walks away.
I knew I recognized her! So she went to Lincoln Middle School with me, that makes sense. Oh my goodness, I remember a Lily from middle school. That has to be her! I know she played basketball and think she was the 'valedictorian' of 7th grade. But I remember her being really ugly. I gotta say, she's not so bad anymore.
"She's cuter than I remember," I accidentally blurt out loud.
"Cute? Dude, she's hot," Thomas replies.
"I thought you just said she was weird," I say confused.
"She is weird, but she's still hot."
I roll my eyes and continue eating my food.

Once we finish eating we head down to the man hangout. "Dude, you really need to try out for football," Thomas says, for probably the 100th time this week.
"What good would I be at football? I mean seriously. I have never played football."
"Not even flag football when you were little?" he asks.
"Nope."
"Well, you've played soccer right?"
"Ya..."
"So you could try out to be the kicker. It's not the same as kicking a soccer ball, but with some practice, I'm sure you could get the hang of it."
"Well I'm going to do basketball, so do I really need to do another sport?"
"Dude, football is like THE sport. Especially if you want the girls. And whenever the football team does good, then the football players get special treatment."
"Special treatment as in what?"
"Free food from the guy hangout, better grades, being late to class excuses, and things like that."
"Really! Well I'm gonna need those good grades," I say. Especially if I want to stay in this school.
"Ya! Plus I'm sure Lily would fall head over heels for a football player."
"She's not like everyone else."
"Oh so..."
"And I don't like her anyways," I quickly add in.
