LILY:

Abigail is awesome! She's like the sister I never had. And her roommate, Sarah is pretty cool too.

I spent last night in their room because Mckenzie and her friends wouldn't stop talking in my room. They kept looking over at me a giggling, so I decided to sneak over to Abigail's room and sleep on the floor of their room.

Today's the first day of school and I'm amazed to admit that I'm actually a little bit excited. I head back to my room and look through my small collection of clothing. I pick out a cute blue dress that matches my eyes. Then I add a black belt and a pair of black flats. I don't usually wear dresses, but it's the first day of school and first impressions are everything.

I brush my hair as I wait for Mckenzie to get out of the bathroom. "Come on! School starts in 10 minutes!" I shout.

"You can't rush beauty!" she replies.

I almost say, 'well then you're never going to come out,' but I figure that would only make things worse.

As five minutes pass, I give up. I go over to Abigail and Sarah's room. "Hey, guys! You excited for the first day of school?" I ask.

"Ya, we were just about to leave. What are you doing here?" Abigail asks.

"Well, Mckenzie is taking literally FOREVER in the bathroom. So I thought I would come over here and brush my teeth, and put mascara on. Is that okay?" I ask.

"Oh, ya that's fine," Sarah says.

"Dang, I can't believe you got stuck with Mckenzie as a roommate," Abigail says.

"Me either," I reply, "It's like the universe wants to punish me or something."

I run into the bathroom and brush my teeth really fast. Then I as we walk to class I use a hand mirror and apply mascara and light blue eyeshadow.

"Here are your schedules girls," A lady with an ugly brown dress and super tall high heels says, handing us each a paper.

"First up English," I sigh. I hate English, like seriously who cares if you know how to diagram a freakin sentence.

"Me too," Sarah replies.

"I have Math," Abigail grumbles.

Sarah and I laugh. Abigail walks toward her class and Sarah and Go to our class.

School speeds by and soon enough it's the end of the day.

"I can't believe we have to do an essay on the first day of school," Sarah and me complain.

"Haha," Abigail laughs, "I remember doing that last year."

"Oh guess what I heard!?!" Sarah says.

"What?" both me and Abigail ask in unison.

"Mckenzie is having a party up on the top deck tonight."

"Well, how nice of her to invite her roommate," I scoff.

"We should sneak in," Sarah says.

"Ya," Abigail agrees.

"I don't know, I'm not really one for parties," I say.

"Oh, come on. Imagine what we could do to annoy Mckenzie," Sarah says with an evil grin.

Abigail adds, "And boy does she deserve a little trouble."

"Oh... okay. As long as you don't leave me all alone," I say reluctantly.

"We won't!" they say giggling.
