20: Truth or Dare

LILY:

Today school is terrible, every single teacher seems to be having a bad day. It appears they all decide to take out their anger and frustration on us. They give us so much homework and yell at us all class time. When school finally ends I meet up with Abigail and Sarah to hang out.

"Hey guys, what should we do today?" I ask them.

They share a sneaky glance and say, "What about Truth or Dare?"

Why do they seem really suspicious? Maybe I'm just imagining. But look at them and their sneaky little smiles, but if I say no then they'll think I'm scared to play. "Um, I guess, if that's what you want to do."

"Yep," they say in unison. Well, now that was suspicious...

We head to my room to play. As I walk into my room I find Mckenzie with a group of her friends doing their hair, nails, and makeup. I stare in awe at how messy the room is. My stuff is thrown all about the room. Why would they do that? I see the picture frame that holds a picture of me and my best friends Brooklyn, Haylee, and Kiana on the floor shattered. I am seriously going to ring that girl's neck!!!

"Maybe we should go to our room," Abigail says turning me away from the room.

"How could they do that?!?" I ask as we walk to their room, "I need to find a way to move out of that room before she does anything else!" I wrack my brain for a way I could move out of the room with Mckenzie. "Or I could make her get expelled from this school!"

"Lily!" Sarah says.

"Sorry, I'm just really mad."

We get to their room and sit down on the beds. Sarah begins.

After a few rounds, Abigail says, "truth or dare Lily."

"Dare!"

"I dare you to ask Blake out," she says.

My eyes widen as I realize what she just said.

"No, nope, never, no way, absolutely not!" I respond.

"Fine, then kiss him," Sarah says.

"Seriously guys! He is my friend and I don't want to ruin our friendship over a stupid dare."

"Pleaseeeeeee," they beg.

"Nothing will change my answer!"

"What if we let you dare each of us anything you want?" Abigail asks.

A thought occurs to me. "Anything?"

"Yep," Sarah replies.

"Well, I heard that Blake's best friend is coming soon for a week to visit. On the week he is here I dare you, Sarah, to ask Thomas out and you, Abigail, to ask Blake's best friend out. And I will ask Blake out," I say satisfied with my offer.

They look at each other, thinking.

"Will you really ask Blake out if we ask them out?" Sarah asks.

"I promise I will," I say.

"Okay you got a deal," Sarah says.

"I will only agree if we all triple date, because there is no way I am going on a date alone with someone I never met," Abigail says.

"Deal."

We all shake on it.

I'm really worried because I've never been on a date before, let alone asked anyone out. Let's just hope everything goes well.
