LILY:

"Wait so when are we asking them?" I ask.

"Whenever today," Abigail answers.

"Okay, well I'm gonna go work on my homework right now because I have a lot. And I'm pretty sure Blake is playing football right now, so I'll have to wait until after dinner to ask him. See you around!" I say heading to my room.

I open my door and relief floods over me as I see a vacant room. I hit the books.

~~~
Well, it's been about an hour and a half. I know the football game is over, and I'm sure they are done eating dinner by now. I'm not one to break a promise, so I decide I should go try to find Blake now. I go to his room and knock on the door. Thomas answers and I look around. It's just Thomas and Jackson, no Blake.
"Have you guys seen Blake?" I ask them.
"He said he was going to go get a snack or something," Jackson says. He and Thomas give each other a weird look.
"Okay thanks," I say leaving.
I know where the Guy Hangout is, but I'm not exactly sure if girls are allowed in there, so I just wait by the elevators. "Ding!" I look expecting it to be Blake, but it's some nerdy kid.
I know told Abigail and Sarah that I didn't want to ask him because we were friends. But deep down inside I can feel the hope that he will say yes, the want for him to say yes. It's scaring me because I've never actually been on a date and I'm worried that if he says yes it will all go wrong. I'm a sorta awkward person and I embarrass myself a lot. So I'm really worried that if he says yes, then I will screw it all up.
I am jerked from my thoughts as the elevator dings and Blake walks out. Keep it together Lily, keep it together Lily, keep it together Lily.
"Hi Blake," I say as casually as possible.
"Oh, Hi Lily."
"Can I ask you something?"
"Um, sure."
Just breath, come on Lily you can do this. You have to do this! "Will you go out with me?"
By the shocked look on his face, I guess he would never have thought that's what I was going to ask him.
"I mean like, it doesn't have to be a date. We could just hang out as friends or like you, Jackson, and Thomas and me, Abigail, and Sarah can all go together. Shut up Lily you're babbling. Or we could just go. And we don't have to go anywhere like fancy. SHUT UP! Sorry, it's just I've never been on a date before, let alone asked anyone out. So what do you say?" Dang it Lily, your so awkward. There's no way he's going to say yes now. You just ruined your chances of a first date.
I look up at him waiting for an answer.
