30: Goodbye

LILY:

"Well guys, I hate to ruin all this, but I have to leave in like 15 minutes," Jackson says.

"What couldn't you just stay here man?" Thomas jokes.

"That'd be sweet, but I don't think they'd let me."

"Do you need help packing?" Blake asks.

"You mean do I need help shoving everything I brought in a bag and zipping it up? Naw, I think I'm good."

We laugh. He runs up to the room he's been staying in and comes back down in about 10 minutes.

I give him an awkward hug and say goodbye.

Abigail tells him, "you better stay in contact."

"I will and I'll come back and visit soon."

Thomas and Jackson hug. "It was amazing to meet you and I'm glad you're Blake's friend. But just know you'll never be his best friend."

Thomas laughs and says, "It was great to meet you too and I hope you don't get too jealous when I'm his best friend and he won't even talk to you."

"Okay, okay guys. You can stop fighting over me now," Blake says.

"I'm gonna miss you man," Jackson says as Blake and him hug.

"I'll miss you too and you better come and visit ASAP!"

"No, I think it's your guy's turn to come visit me next."

"That would be fun," Thomas says and we all agree.

"Well, I have to go. I'll miss you guys and look forward to your visit. Goodbye!" Jackson says.

"Bye!" we all say.

I lay in bed for half an hour thinking about the day and looking at all the funny pictures Blake and I toke. I had so much fun with Blake today. Who knew that even when you're 15 an arcade could be that fun. I'm glad I made some good memories. I laugh at the picture of Blake's face after I hit that kid in the back of the head with a hockey puck.

Then a text pops up on my phone. It's from Blake.

B: 'Hey what's up?'

L: 'Just looking at all the terrible pictures we toke today :)'

B; 'Oh, like this one?' He sends me a hilarious picture of me trying to eat a warhead.

L: 'Oh gosh that's beautiful!'

B: 'lol'

L: 'I had fun today...'

B: 'Ya I'm glad we could hang out, even though we're just friends'

L: 'Ya'

B: ':)'

L: 'Are you excited for another week of school?'

B: 'Totally'

B: 'Not'

L: 'Lol'

L: 'Well I better go catch up on all my Netflix shows before 3 am. So I'm gonna go now. I hope you have a goodnight.'

B: 'Wow! Well enjoy being tired for school tomorrow!'

L: 'thanks'

B: 'goodnight!'

I yawn as I get out of bed. It's the beginning of another week of school. I get out of bed and begin to get ready for school. I pick out a purple top with very light blue jeans. I'm really cold, so I grab a gray hoodie on my way out the door.
