"You're all completely mad!" Ron says, holding on to his dear "pet".

"Just hand us the rat Ron." Remus says and both he and Dad start to raise their wands in that direction.

"Expelliarmus!" He hear from the seemingly empty doorway, when suddenly Snape is revealed from under Harry's invisibility cloak. Dad and Remus are unarmed as Snape turns to Dad with a dark glee in his eyes.

"Ah, vengeance is sweet. How I hoped I'd be the one to catch you." The three of us all tense, at Snape's sinister words not knowing what will happen next.

"Severus—" Remus tries to butt in only for Snape to whip his head in his direction, but wand still pointing at Dad.

"I told Dumbledore that you were helping an old friend into the castle, of course with the help of his daughter. And here's all the proof I need." At the mention of me, both Dad and Remus attempted to move closer to Snape, but were held back by Snape flourishing his wand between the two.

"Brilliant Snape. Once again you put your keen and penetrating mind to the task and, as usual, come to the wrong conclusion. Now if you'll excuse us, Remus and I have some unfinished business to attend to."

I try not to snort in amusement when suddenly Snape launches towards Dad holding his wand against his neck. I gasp, not being able to move as absolute terror takes hold of me. I know how much Snape hates my dad, and he's crazy enough to kill him without even thinking.

"Give me a reason. I beg you." He snarls, as madness gleams in his eyes, Dad straining a good deal to try and keep a calm face.

"Don't be a fool, Severus!" Remus says attempting to move himself closer.

"He can't help it. It's habit by now." Really. You're at wand point and can still find the ability to hassle Snape?!

"Quiet Sirius!" Remus scolds. In any other situation I feel this would be a good laugh, but until I know Snape isn't going to kill my father, I can't help but feel extremely hollow.

"Listen to you. Quarreling like an old married couple. Something you were familiar with Black, weren't you?"

That snaps me out of my thoughts quickly, and I believe if Dad didn't have a wand to his throat he would've strangled Snape. Remus' head quickly snaps in my direction as well as Dad's eyes, both gauging and waiting my reaction as my blood starts to boil. Remus slightly shakes his head, pleading with me to control my anger. He isn't worth it. He isn't worth it.

"Why don't you run along and play with your chemistry set?" Dad growls between his teeth, obviously struggling like I am to remain a bit calm.

"Witty as ever I see. Tell me, will you be so irreverent when I turn you over to the Dementors?" I see fear flicker in Dad's eyes, as well as mine and Remus'.

"Do I detect a flicker of fear? One can only imagine what it must be like to endure the Dementor's Kiss. It's said to be unbearable to witness. But I'll do my best."

"Why you greasy little—" my blood now boiling, how dare he bring that up! Talk about it like its the bloody Quidditch Cup or something...

"I wouldn't say anything more if I were you Miss Black. Harboring a fugitive, that can get you expelled or even a cell next to Daddy's."

To say everyone wasn't shocked at the words Snape just uttered would be an understatement. The poor trio absolutely shocked, whereas Dad and Remus are having a hard time not beating Snivellous to a bloody pulp.

"You dare talk to my daughter like that?!" Dad gets out, before Snape once again digs his wand into Dad's neck forcing him to the door.

"Let's go. All of you."
