*So, I've been listening to Ed lately, added in one of my favorite songs from him in an older chapter, but I thought this one need some Ed Sheeran :) So, I think this one fits well for this chapter! Also, this is my favorite version of this song! Enjoy I hope you like it! :)

"Together, with you as my wife?"

I–I'm absolutely stunned... I wasn't expecting this at all... I—

"I–I was going to wait until Christmas, but then everything happened...and well it felt right." He begins to get nervous staring up at me from his kneeling position.

"Will you marry me Evelyn?"

"I–Ye—Yes! Oh of course I will!" I say finally, my brain finally registering that this is real, and really happening.

He smiles broadly, jumping up from his position and spinning me around in a tight embrace. Calmly placing me on the ground, his lips soon find mine in a very passionate lock.

"Oh good. I thought I mucked it up." He says as he pulls away making the two of us laugh.

"C'mon, I have something for you." He says smiling, tugging me into the house.

"Fred—?"

I'm stuck trying to match his paces, until we reach the foyer of the Manor, then there's a sudden tug behind my navel and I'm spinning.

"Dammit Fred! You know I hate that!" I say smacking his shoulder once we land in his bedroom.

"No you don't."

With a cheeky grin, he runs to his trunk, digging underneath socks and multiple pranking gear, he return to me with a little red box.

"Like I said, this was supposed to be your Christmas gift, but-" he opens the box and I gasp at the beautiful ring inside. "You can wear it now if you like?" He becomes shy once again, making me giggle.

I gently take the box from his hands, looking at the beautiful ring, unable to stop the giant grin. I can't believe this is actually happening!

"Fred...this is absolutely gorgeous! I–How did you find such a thing?"

"That's for me to know. I'm sorry it isn't much—" I not so gently smack his arm, upset that he would even say such a thing.

"Oh shut up. It's absolutely beautiful! You could've gotten me a plain band and I would still love it." With that he captures me in another kiss, this one more passionate than the last.

Breaking for air my thoughts suddenly become mischievous and I have an idea..

"Who all knows about this?" I say looking at him, he looks slightly confused at the sly look in my eyes.

"Well, I had to ask both your Dad's for their blessings, thankfully they didn't rip my head off. And George knows I was going to ask you on Christmas. What are you planning?" He narrows his eyes slightly, as my grin widens.

"I want to see how many will notice. And I also want to wear the gorgeous thing, why not make a game out of it?"

He soon matches my smile, and he takes the box back from me. Gently grabbing the ring, he places it on my finger and I'm captivated at how it glitters in the light.

"One Galleon says your sister will notice first." I say as he puts the box back and we start to head for the door.

"I say George will notice first. But I spent my Galleons on that ring, so how about a kiss to whoever wins?" He asks and of course, being me, I decide to make it a bit more appealing.

"How about a night in the Room of Requirement when we get back?" He wiggles his eyebrows at me, with a cheeky grin.

"Isn't that a win-win for the both of us?" He says with a smirk, and I just answer with my own as we step into the foyer.

"Got lost did you?" George asks as we enter the living room, everyone gathered around the fire, some drinking tea, the others playing a game of Exploding Snap.

"Yeah Georgie, I forgot which house was mine." I deadpan making Fred snigger and George poke his tongue at me.

"And so Evelyn has returned with her sass. I don't think I really missed it."

"Missed you too George."

I say with an innocent smile, while sitting next to George on the couch. Us holding hands, my left being half covered.

"Does anyone want more tea?" Ginny asks after a rather loud explosion, obviously done with the game.

"Sure. I'll come help." I say with a smile, in response to her raised eyebrow at Fred and I.

"So what happened there?" She asks as we get to the stove. I begin to pull out tea, cream, and sugar as she sets the kettle on.

"We were talking on the way home and fixed things. Tonks talked some sense into me, not to be so hard on him, and so he explained. We both apologized." I simply shrug turning around to face her.

"So you forgave him? Just like that?"

"Ginny it was just a stupid fight. There was honestly no reason for me to be so angry at him, when we both said pretty terrible things. It wasn't worth it." She just looks at me with a questioning brow, before the kettle starts to scream.

"Alright fine. I'm glad you guys fixed it, I just don't want him getting all stupid again." This makes me laugh as I set out extra cups for Fred and I.

"I think that might be unavoidable." This makes us laugh again before I poke my head into the other room.

"Love, you want it white right?" I ask Fred, and he just nods with a wink.

"Thank you Gin." I smile at her. "How's things with–?" I tilt my head to signal Harry, but she just shrugs.

"I dunno.. With everything that's been going on.. Oh, which reminds me. Dean's been writing lately.."

"Really?" I say raising a brow, mixing the teas as she refills hers.

"Yeah." She simply shrugs. "I think I might give him a chance. You never know." With that she leaves and I follow.

"Thank you Love."

Fred says as I sit beside him, he pulls me into a loving embrace, and I realize I'm truly lucky to find a love like this, with my best friend.

The serene feeling is interrupted by a very loud, surprised gasp.
