Searching for exact change,
to move on with my life,
can't sit around waiting for change,
to come, just because I went through some strife,
some hardships, some pain, and more problems than can be written with a pen,
I've decided to keep moving forward today,
not waiting until tomorrow and not trying to live yesterday again.
Life's like a bunch of toll booths,
and death is at the end,
if we really knew all of life's truths,
would we be so quick to jump the bend?
