The road I'm on,
is long and the sun burns,
every now and again I think,
of the paths not traveled, if only...
Every crossroad the choice seem clear,
but then again it might just have been fear,
the outcome of a choice seems so simple,
and yet,
how much would life change if only...
If I were to have said yes instead of no,
or no instead of yes,
to live without regret,
we all want that,
that's why we say if only...
If time travel was possible,
if I knew what I knew now,
if I had another chance,
if I had an easier past,
the comfort that eludes me would be in my grasp,
if only...
Life wasn't so uncertain,
with a new day behind the curtain,
and no light at the end of the tunnel,
if only the right answers weren't...
optional.
