Acid melts my eyelids,
and the ecstasy I feel as I lie inert,
while sparks fly from my mind,
but I don't mind,
and I enjoy the light show.
Acid melts my eyelids,
and darkness swallows me suddenly as a landslide of dirt,
but the visions and people there are kind,
their light comes from within and it's logic of a different kind,
and I enjoy the light show.
Acid melts my eyelids,
and I shut down to reboot the next day an automaton, programmed and alert,
following the conventions of society and staying in line,
tuning into the daily propaganda that promises that everything is better because of the line,
and I enjoy the light show.
